The righteous considers the cause of the poor: but the wicked regards not to know it. Proverbs 29:7

Do you still sit in an assembly where the poor are forced to tithe or leave? If you do, why?

If if it doesn't bother you, why?

If you couldn't care less, why?

News flash: according to the submitted verse, you are wicked. You best repent and run as fast as you can from that den of thieves.

Not Yet's word.

I have lived in several cities across the eastern U.S. in my 60 years but never have I been in any church where anyone was forced to tithe.

You could either choose to tithe, or choose not to tithe.

Yeah like pretty much everyone else but you, I have never been forced to tithe in any church I attended.

I've never been forced to tithe. Everything, whether it's tithing, child care, or dinner, has always been on a donation basis. The only thing we would have to pay for is some kind of book we may be interested in, and even then, the church works with you if money is tight.

I know of churches that basically "force" tithing... quite a few actually...and these churches are basically being secondary tax collectors of the congregation and they DO NOT have any poverty programs... rather expect the poor to go to the government.

I understand where you are coming from YET.... I do wish you would figure out how to present the "material" better... you too often just seem to be RANTING... and thus you get ignored.

Ezekiel 34:9-10 therefore oh you shepherds/pastors, here the word of the Lord.

Thus says the Lord God, behold, I Am against the shepherds/pastors and I will require my flock at their hands, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock (lies), neither shall the shepherds/pastors feed themselves anymore, for I will deliver My flock from their mouth, that they be not meat for them.

Wolves with mouths full of wool! I guess some things never change!

If your church forces you to tith leave it, shake the dust off your shoes and leave it
God wants you to tith with a joyous heart not as a requirement. If this is enforced by the pastors and elders leave it, God will not bless it. It's not his heart.

Any Church that forces tithing is not a church, rather is a cult.

Proverbs 14:31 he that oppresses the poor (by ignoring them in your gathering) reproaches His Maker: but he that honors Him has mercy on the poor.

21:13 whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall NOT be heard.

James 2:15-16 if a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say to them, depart in peace, be warmed, be fed (be gone, the game is starting) and you don't give them what they need, what does it profit?

1John 4:20 if a man says I love God but hates his brother (no concern for his poverty) he is a LIAR.......

3:17 but whoso has this worlds goods and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his compassion, how dwells the love of God in him?...I'll give you 3 guesses..it doesn't!

Hebrews 13:16 but to do good and communicate(help the poor) forget not. For with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

What has ship wrecked these commands to help the struggling is the abominable tithe.
'They'll know we are Christians by our love' is a joke and a lost world sees it and is repelled by it and rightly so.

Many would love to be led of the Spirit to do alms, to relieve the widows, to bless a poor family with children that have no lunch money, but they are struggling themselves just to get the devilish tithe paid so the wolf can spend the week golfing. After that, they have no extra to give to the destitute. God's ministry thwarted by satan and many of the poor quit the assembly for shame and stress for being so pinched.

You know what I am saying is the truth. Google it you callous ones.

So keep feeding and clothing your poor pastor the fat and wool.

Jeremiah 22:16 he that judges the right of the poor and needy will do well. Is this not to truly know the Lord? (Do YOU know the Lord?)

God will deliver the sheep out of the mouths of wolves.

chapter 26:9. And all the people were against Jeremiah in the house of the Lord! (I get that gig)!

ezekiel 34:10. The Lord says, I'm against the pastors. ....they will not feed themselves anymore, for I will deliver My sheep from their mouths that they be not meat for these hirelings anymore!

It's not even about presenting the material better. It's about us not wanting to hear anymore from Yet about tithing. There's good reason for us to ignore his rants. He's been doing this for a year, perhaps longer.

A wise on Dutchman once told me that a man who digs a grave for another is already standing in it.

You are not only unwise but you slander the believers with your vile accusations against the church assembly. It is no wonder that no one wants you in their assembly. You are a destroyer not a healer.

Slander and liable are the fruits of a bitter heart. You offend the innocent and express no remorse. Better a millstone were hanged about your neck that you should offend one of these little ones.

When my father still attended church, the pastor called all that tithe to come to the front, my Dad didn't go even though he tithed, so all the tithers minus my Dad was up front facing the Pastor. The Pastor then said, Now turn around and look at all those who do not tithe - Dad left the church and never attended church (any) ever again.

Yet, I would greatly appreciate it if you would stop misusing the word of God and taking it out of context to fit your agenda. The word of God is not a toy it is holy precious sacred and is to be used with great care and consideration. I would be careful as to how you use it. You speak as if you care about being righteous but all I see you do is complain about the church and about money, you do not speak like a Christian nor do you act like one if you are so concerned about money about how the church ought to be then you needn't be on here complaining about it you should be out there doing something about it.

You must have attended some very strange Churches. If I felt forced to do anything I would leave anyway
