A bit out of context but I believe it still applies. ..

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 (KJV)
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Using instruments and dance as a way to praise God is not unbiblical, and I bet that they would use verses to support that as defense for what they are doing :p

This is one thing that I fear when it comes to Christians who rely on feelings alone for faith. I strongly believe that we can be guided by our feelings by the holy spirit, but satan masquerades as an angel of light to deceive us, and I 100% believe he can use this same thing people come to rely on over Gods word in order to lead people astray.

Im sure every single adult in that audience would tell you they are being guided by the holy spirit.

Strange stuff, but I am just wondering; what is she saying when she says "my (word in question) calls out to your (word in question)"? Starts at about 1:15 to 1:50.

Not for me, that's for sure. But, here again, I think we often go way too far in the reactive emotionalism of our criticisms. They called it "tribal", as though that was a bad thing. But the very roots of our own religion came from "tribal" people. ("Yes", the Bible used that very term) And I am fairly certain the music was very similar to that shown. Believe it, or not, they didn't have organs back in those day. They had only what we just saw.

I think it was, "deep." ("Deep calls to deep.")

2Cor.11:13-15 For such are false prophets, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

Is it any wonder that folks that are sold out to Christ are not welcome in Christendom/Babylon?

The remnant that refuses to compromise His truth in order to 'fit in'!

That's what I was thinking too, but it didn't make any sense. Then again the whole video really didn't much make sense.

Felt kinda bad for the lady, she seemed distressed, I hope she will be okay.

How anyone can believe that this is true worship is beyond me!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rwzbcMXpSQ

Ive spoken about this on another thread. This is a trend...just like spiritual birthing was a trend, gold in the teeth, angel "feathers" from the rafters,I see a mist and telling your aura. Yep,seen them all come and go.Nothing wrong with emotion in worship but its to be in order and Bible based not some new trend or twisting of doctrine. You folks think thats scary? Be in one of the services! The majority of times I would walk out.Dangerous once some of these people get on a roll ! Oh the stories I could tell.lol smh

Well, did you not laugh when you suggested they might use Scripture to verify what they were doing with the music and dance? Of course you did. And all I was saying was what you said was true. The music was not unbiblical.

We may not like what they are saying, but you DID post a video that made fun of the music and instruments.... and I was pointing out that we so often blast EVERYTHING a strange group like this does, in an effort to paint them as poorly as we can... when there was nothing wrong with some of what they were doing. So, why include ridicule of the instruments and music? Why not simply just point out what we think is wrong?

I'm convinced it's not a matter of belief as we would use it. Rather, it is love. Love of money.
Amen to that...the root of ALL evil...........Many having coveted thereafter have pierced themselves through with many arrows!
