One day, i was worshiping God in my church when suddenly I had a strange vision. I was looking up a huge mountain. On top was a large mansion and hundreds of people were walking down a winding road. The scenary was gloomy. Everyone just had a blank expression on their face. They continued to walk down the road and eventually they past me. I was able to feel their presence and see their faces. When I opened my eyes, I was in the church. I closed my eyes and the vision continued.

Can anyone help me understand what the vision meant.

How do you know it was a vision and not a day dream?

Maybe you are highly anxious of being ignored or maybe being left behind and it came out in a dream or vivid thought while you.were at your church.

Dreams are pretty random. The fact you were in church at that time doesn't change that fact.

Could be that the people in your dream are some of the the very people in the church who are simply paying lip service to the Lord. They think they are in the mansion on a high mountain (church) but are indeed walking away and down from it.

Sounds like that same feeling Norman Rockwell had when he painted "Lift Up Thine Eyes." Look closely at the painting and see if you're not sensing the same thing.

Thanks wattie for responding to my post. To answer ur question, this was a true vision. I was standing up, praising
God . I emphasize, standing up. I closed my eyes and saw this vision. I later opened my eyes and I was back, standing up. I closed my eyes and the vision continued from where it left off.

You need to pray and ask God to interpret this vision. We were not there, so we cannot fully grasp what you saw. And do read your Bible. God will minister through the Word and help you know what you are to learn, and to let this go when it is the right time.

Interesting point. I was able to look at the faces of these people and they did not resemble any church members. Howeve
r, they all had very distinct features . I was a new Christian and didn't know about visions or dreams. So u can understand the confusion I had when I saw it.

Thank u Angela53510 for ur response. Thus vision I had was over 30 years ago. I diligently seeked God and studied His word but did not get any closer to an answer. I know one day He will open my eyes to the meaning and God will be praised.

Yes the vision was very random but so is God.
