Matt 26:29 (KJV)
29) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

What a blessed thought! Jesus is not going to begin the party until little old me gets there. Oh how He loves you and I. See you at the Wedding!

I just took
the easy-to-read's version

or easily for me to read.
I just wanted to let you know =)

I sometimes wonder if the wine is good in heaven. I don't like the taste here. Even "the good stuff" tastes nasty. I hope it taste better there.

Although it would depend on the vintage I'm sure that there will be plenty of 'Cana' quality wines in which to imbibe.

New Wine? ...but old is better

I like some wine, but I have a low tolerance to them, I'd start smiling foolishly.

Actually, I quit drinking in 1992 but I don't have a problem with others drinking socially as long as they don't get obnoxious. I used to enjoy a good glass of wine but I am by no means an authority. The first miracle that Jesus performed was to turn water into wine at the wedding at Cana. Of course, there are teetotalers who insist that Jesus actually turned the water into Welch's grape juice. You are right, older aged wines are usually premium.

If you are a man, or a Le-bi-sian woman, go ahead, a pop that cold one open on the way from work.
Paraphrased quote of Michael Berry.

Don't like grape juice either. I'm hoping the wine is as good as Diet Decaf Coke or Pepsi. lol

If not that, may the new taste buds enjoy whatever wine is in heaven.

How about Dr. Pepper made out of fermented prunes?

See you at the Wedding!
was thinking of this today, on a related note --

the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband.
(1 Corinthians 7:14)

if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
(2 Timothy 2:13)

Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
(Ephesians 5:25)

But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.
Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another,
to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.
(Romans 7:3-4)

He will not forsake us :)

far better!

For your love is better than wine
(Song of Songs 1:2)

whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.
(John 4:14)
