Our Lord Yeshua has teach that a good tree do not growth bad fruit's, so the doctrine is that a good man do not do bad things.

We can not do sin, and follow our Lord.

The sinning must stop.

The problem lies in Christian's "opinion" of what 'good' and 'bad' are.
Those who twist scripture will call good 'evil' and call evil 'good'.
The body of Christ has gotten a good deal messy...

"And Jesus said unto him, Why call me good? none is good, except one, that is, God" - Luke 18:9

I agree.

I can spend my whole life working at what I think Jesus wants me to do. That is works of the flesh. works of the flesh are not always sinful.

For a long time I thought that to experience success in my Christian life, I had to work harder. But I discovered that the key to enjoying success is not strenuous work, but spiritual rest.

A good synonym for flesh may be self-sufficiency.

We sometimes try to live for Him when He wants to live His life through us.

When Jesus came to visit Mary and Martha in their home at Bethany, Mary sat down at the feet of Jesus and listened intently to every word He spoke.
Martha was busy doing things in the home to make His visit more enjoyable. Whether she was cooking or preparing His room, she felt uptight because company was in the house and she wanted to be a good hostess.
As she hurried around, she couldn’t help but notice Mary sitting there talking while she was doing all the work.
But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:40-42).

Luke says that Martha was “distracted.” Distracted from what? From Jesus! What was it that caused her attention to be distracted from Jesus? You got it— serving Him! In the flesh and not in his spirit.

Fruit of the Spirit comes from resting in the Spirit and letting Jesus live through me. He will give me desire to do things with the strength, and wisdom to do them.

I have no doubt that he means the willful sinning must stop as everyone knows we all sin at times. What is so bad is the intentional sin - the knowing 'it is wrong but it would be so much fun just once' and that is what must be stopped.
People in here jump immediately onto posts that maybe imperfectly worded or posts by someone whose native language isn't English so the phraseology might be different. How about practicing the love of Jesus Christ?

This is a good subject.

There is nothing wrong with your thread brother. Nothing at all.

Same stalkers doing the same thing to stop something good that they take offense to before is spreads. The Bible and Holy spirit that dwells in a true believer will be able to know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of adversity by having 2 witnesses, the Spirit and the Word of God that always work together as One. Bearing good fruit is a good subject.

"What does it mean to test the spirits in relation knowing what is good fruit and what isn't?"

Answer:
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).

In this verse believers are commanded to “test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” This same command is echoed in other parts of Scripture as well. For example, in 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 we find Paul exhorting the Christians to not “despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good.”

These two passages are just a few of the many that warn Christians to test the message that people or spirits proclaim. This is true in all situations but most importantly when a person or spirit is claiming to speak for God. Christians are to be discerning hearers and readers of all messages. The reason for the admonition to “test the spirits” or “test all things” is that there are “many false prophets” or “wolves in sheep’s clothing” that try to lead Christians astray

Second Corinthians 11:13-15 warns us that “such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” So the reason for testing the spirits, for testing all religious teaching, is to see if it is truly from God or if it is a lie from Satan and his servants.

The test is to compare what is being taught with the clear teaching of the Bible. The Bible alone is the Word of God; it alone is inspired and inerrant. Therefore, the way to test the spirits is to see if what is being taught is in line with the clear teaching of Scripture. In Acts 17:10-11 the Berean Jews were commended because, after they heard the teachings of Paul and Silas, they “examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” The Bereans were called “noble” for doing so.

Testing the spirits means that one must know how to “examine the Scriptures.” Rather than accept every teaching, discerning Christians diligently study the Scriptures. Then they know what the Bible says and therefore can “test all things and hold fast to what is true.”

Thats right. Lest we forget that we are merely branches who bear the good fruit produced by the Spirit.

Not sure what this was a about. The problem is that there are no good men. Our utmost best works outside of the spirit of God are a waste of time. Sure we might do something good that the world likes. Out side of working in Grace and Spirit our works are meaningless.

Amen to that....I was kind of thinking that even an apple tree occasionally produces a worm infested apple and or a few shriveled up apples not worth eating......

Nope, nope. You don't have a clue about this guy. He just rants and raves and condemns and believes that Christians don't sin at all and that if they do sin at all, then they're not Christians. That's not biblical! There's so much foolishness in these Bible Discussion Forums. I can understand some confusion, but Mikko has been milking this for all it's worth. I'm not attacking Mikko. I'm practising the love of Christ for calling out something that's not of Christ. God is a God of Love, He is Love, but this postmodern imperfect carbon-copy pansy, hippy Jesus isn't the Jesus of the Bible.

a bad tree is one that can not phantom things of the faith for itself... it will conduct in things that go bad and have no faith in reconsidering that all things work for good for them that love God in the first place again.

the good tree is full of spirit, producing the fruits of the spirit and walking in the spirit. It will see hope where there is no hope and find peace where there is no peace, that because it is protected by God under its own circumstances, as such it was preordained..

it is only a double minded man who walks in between thous cracks, lukewarm waiting to be spewled out, either for the good tree or the bad tree,.. this can be for each to have a season under the sun to go through if so ever one comes to the stage of walking in thous shoes knowingly. For most people dont know even christians, seen that it detects much discernment for it to be seen; which should be when not expected, else it is a facad of considering one to walk in this or that shoe

so take in mind the tree which has is place... for both have, but one gets this result and the other that, one should be peaceful in either one of them if one so can find

still a matter of condemnation . .. .

Mikko,

There are no bad trees. All trees are good. All flowers are good. All insects are good. All people are good. Sin is good. Good is good. There is no bad. There is just differences of opinion. All good. This post is good. Anyone who disagrees with it is good. It is good to disagree. It is good to agree. It good to be wrong. All is good. And that's good. You are good. I am good.
