Isa 9:7

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David (David translates to English as beloved, and upon his kingdom(the capital of our Kingdom to come is New Jerusalem.), to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The throne of David was first in Hebron, and moved to Jerusalem. Of course the prophesy is not about the King David of the Jerusalem of this age, no the prophesy is about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Beloved. His Throne is in New Jerusalem, or the Jerusalem above to be brought down by God. Thus the Kingdom is the spiritual Israel. We will be with our King forever. Now this is wonderful, and it is impossible to describe in detail. We know it is wonderful, with things awaiting us the heart not only has not imagined, it cannot imagine. Come Jesus Christ, come for us soon dear King, amen.

It does not matter the the goodness and teh beauty of the post, someone will come along and attempt to sully it.¡

Who needs to be directed to "the Scripture" referencing the spiritual Israel when we know there are two Jerusalems, one on earth and the other in heaven.? That second New Jerusalem is to be brought down by God, Himself.

Who needs any Scripture at all while we know the reference in the Scripture quoted is to the Kingdom of our Savior with its capital New Jerusalem?

This scripture makes reference to the throne of David (the beloved). The Throne of the first David was over Israel.

Pick, pick, pick is for the vultures.

If anyone sees this post as faulty and/or wrong, he should pray and think some before going beyond a determination to a conclusion. Conclusions are for God.

Where is the scripture that says there is no Spiritual Israel? Scripture without the Holy Spirit kills.

Just a thought. There is no scripture directing us to love Jesus Christ with all of our heart, soul and understanding, yet we should. There is one saying this about God. If you or anyone relies only on the written word without the guidance of teh Holy Spirit, your knowledge is vain.

The Bible is clear that there are only three groups of people, Judah (the Jews), Israel (Gentiles grafted into the olive tree/spiritual Israel) and the dogs (Gentiles out of covenant). We should decide where we fit in :)

The world overflows with tragedies. God wants us to spend time reflecting on the pain and sorrow in the world around us so we can vividly see the need for Him to send Jesus Christ back to earth to set up His government, a kingdom that will yield, peace, joy, and abundance(Micah 4:1-4). We can think about how wonderful that world under God's rule will be, and commit ourselves now to God's will(Matthew 6:10). This includes living according to the laws of that Kingdom now and helping proclaim God's message of hope to the world ( Mathew 19:17-19; Mathew 24:14; Matthew 28:19-20).

If Jerusalem is spiritual and Zion is spiritual, how is it that Israel is not spiritual? I can direct you to scripture that shows the first two are spiritual.

Hello JaumeJ,

Actually Jesus is going to King on earth. It will be the era of Messianic Reign. The scripture you quote from Isaiah is talking about Messianic Reign. The Big Gun at the Battle of Armageddon is the 'sword of Christ's mouth'. Sorry to those who thought it would be nuclear weapons. Christ's lips pronouncing sinners bound to their sins, and thus spiritual death, is a far bigger gun than nukes. The Armageddon scroll, read right before Jesus is crowned as King and Ruler of the world, is a list of world wide auto anathemas. You do this, if un-absolved, you go to hell. You do that, if un-absolved, you go to hell. Jesus is not King and Ruler of the world until His subjects, Apostolic Successors, put His Laws into enforcement on earth. Reading a scroll of auto anathemas, puts Christ's Laws into enforcement on earth.

Jesus blew on His Apostles, therefore their successors, and swore to them that anyone whom they hold bound to their sins on earth, He will bind to their sins in heaven. Jesus also swore that any one whom Apostolic Successors call upon Jesus to loost of their sins on earth, He will loost in heaven. What a way to enforce Christ's Laws on earth. Hey, who ever murdered this child, you are bound to this sin until you repent, confess your crime in secular courts, and receive absolution.

There will be peace and justice in Christ's Kingdom Come on earth, and it will come through Law enforcement, through Christ's Church. Satan is man's evil human pride on earth. Sorry Satan, you will be chained in hell during Christ's Reign on earth.

Hallelujah! Let Jesus Rule!

They are not all Israel who are Israel (Rom 9.6). If he is not talking about a spiritual Israel, what is he talking about? They are 'the election' (Rom 11.5, 7, 28).

Furthermore Israel always welcomed proselytes. Indeed they were commanded to do so (Ex 12.48).

Thus the spiritual Israel were joined by believing proselytes in the olive tree forming the true spiritual Israel (Rom 11.12-24).

Hello JaumeJ,

Actually Jesus is going to King on earth.
He is already king on earth, ruling over earth from Heaven (Acts 2.30-36; Rev 20.4-5).

Nowhere in Scripture is it ever suggested that Jesus will reign on earth from Jerusalem. That is a sad myth which belittles His greatness.

It will be the era of Messianic Reign.
The Messianic reign is already in process - Acts 2.36.

The scripture you quote from Isaiah is talking about Messianic Reign. The Big Gun at the Battle of Armageddon is the 'sword of Christ's mouth'.
Where does Scripture say that Jesus Christ will be involved in the battle of Armageddon? Such an idea is never mooted. The sword of Christ's mouth is the sword of judgment which will be exercised from over the earth. He will not need to become involved in any battles. They are for mortal men.

Sorry to those who thought it would be nuclear weapons. Christ's lips pronouncing sinners bound to their sins, and thus spiritual death, is a far bigger gun than nukes.
And has nothing to do with Armageddon which will be fought by worldly leaders.

Pure invention.

thank you for your comments. My understanding is always being expanded by the Holy Spirit. For the present, my understanding of Christ, my King is His eternal presence in our eternity. He does not believe in divorce, and we are married to Him. Yes, Praise Jesus Christ, Who is God, Who is King.

In the OT God declares, I am your husband, I am your King. I do not need more than this to believe as I do on this particular posting. I believe what you have posted is one of the many theological views under the umbrella name, Christianity.

The Kingdom is not a "Location". You are living it, right this very moment.

What the Bible makes clear is that there are only two kinds of people from God's POV, those in Adam and those in Christ.

True, the Kingdom is in our midst, that is many of its citizens, but while the King and the Throne ae in heaven, we must not begin to reign. We are not to begin to reign without the King being present.

Perhaps others understand this clearly, I do not, but there is a thousand year period of peace, and there is the eternal Kingdom. Anyone who truly understands this, go ahead and explain it. I am awaiting the revelation of these mysteries. I cannot go by popular folklore handed down by the traditions of men who think they know already. What God has in store for us, I believe, is so incredible, no man can explainit, or describe it.....but feel free to post on it.

Why are you following me for post to post with your allegations and innuendo? Do you see His throne established on earth?
Do you see the nations coming to Him bowing down to Him? No Jesus Christ has not yet returned in all His glory.

Everyone who knows Him is anxiously awaiting His return. And when I use the word, anxiously, I refer to fervor and love. Now stop annoying those who are serious in their endeavor. You know what you are doing. mature a bit.

You think the King isn't present here??

This will be interesting. In the past I have read about Spiritual Israel vs No spiritual Israel.
I will say that my discernment doesn't go off on the Spiritual Israel idea. So, I would say that it is either true or it isn't anything to concern myself about.

Another paranoid one I see. No one is following you around. Get over yourself.

He's not here; he's in heaven. However, he is here through his spirit dwelling in his body. The body is on earth, but the head of the body is in heaven.
