May I ask. Why has the OP made this thread into a competition? Isn't that making people biased? we are called to love and treat everyone as equals aren't we?

That's why if we really love our fellow humans
We will not allow any false teaching or falls doctrines deceived them
John: 5. 44. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Laughter is the best medicine as they say
2 Corinthians: 9. 7. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

:smoke: THE TRUTH IS WE JUST SAW THOSE PEOPLE WITHIN THIS VERY MOMENT
and we hope we could ask some questions to them . ...

Paul Washer is a southern baptist who isn't affraid to tell someone they're in the wrong. Very aggressive teachings and a lot of truth in them.

They say the truth hurts, and he'll let someone know the truth, and with how sensative this generation is he could come accross as "offensive".

The Bible says the truth will set you free!!! :D Jesus came to set the captives free!! :D The joy of the Lord is our strength!!:D

Couldn't care less about either one of them. They are both charlatans

Then we must ask them first about what is written in the holy bible
Before we could say that those people
Were really charlatans as it looks . ...
For example like this question
QUESTION:
HOW CAN WE PROVE THAT THE BIBLE IS NOT AGAINST SCIENCE? :hmm:

Any preacher that adds the Old Testament to the New Testament preaches a false gospel. Repent this world is full of preachers that do it. The New Testament makes it clear that the law is not of faith.

I'm pretty sure he's ok with it.
On one of the youtube videos I've seen on him speaking, the very first thing he states is that people in his position will be judge the hardest because they are teaching, and if they are teach wrong then the judgement will be greater. So with him knowing that, I'm pretty sure he's well aware of this.

The biggest difference between Washer and Osteen, is Osteen is not going to say something that will offend someone. He's a people pleaser. Washer is going to teach, and if it offends someone, it won't bother Washer.

With todays modern society and they way people are becoming (more so towards the younger generations coming up). There is a load of teachings in the bible, NT and OT, that are going to offend someone.

Biggest example is homosexuality.
Paul Washer - will tell someone it's wrong and it's a sin.
Joel Osteen - will tell someone he's not there judge, therefor won't say anything.

If a brother or sister is stumbling, are we not suppose to let them know they are stumbling?

I believe yes we are.

Based off of that, Osteen will not tell someone if they're stumbling or not. Washer will.

That's why I stated the truth hurts sometime.

Luke: 9. 28. And it came to pass about eight days after these words, that he took Peter, and James, and John, and went up into a mountain to pray.
29. And whilst he prayed, the shape of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became white and glittering.
30. And behold two men were talking with him. And they were Moses and Elias,
31. Appearing in majesty. And they spoke of his decease that he should accomplish in Jerusalem.
:hrmm: how come Moses and Elijah is still present in the time of
Our lord Christ Jesus if it is not necessary to practised
the ancient law of moses in the Jewish community
Or shall we say is it fair that " THE OLD TESTAMENT "
mustn't be used as a guide in seeking the truth?
~:» 2 Peter: 3. 2. That you may be mindful of those words which I told you before from the holy prophets, and of your apostles, of the precepts of the Lord and Saviour.
3. Knowing this first, that in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4. Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? for since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5. For this they are wilfully ignorant of, that the heavens were before, and the earth out of water, and through water, consisting by the word of God.

†OR
Can someone be condemned if he/she was living during the time as same as the dark ages that he/she taken someone's life in order to protect
what is dear to him/her?
~:» 2 Peter: 3. 9. The Lord delayeth not his promise, as some imagine, but dealeth patiently for your sake, not willing that any should perish, but that all should return to penance.

*All of us will be judge according from all that we've
done during our lifetime and from
what generation we've existed
~:»2 Peter: 3. 7. But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of the ungodly men.
8. But of this one thing be not ignorant, my beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
~:»did anyone tell this to anyone
Especially to all of you my brothers and my sisters

And if anyone here saw someone who write something
Like this
" OUR LORD GOD WHO IS GOOD AND WHO CANNOT TELL A LIE " and
" OUR LORD GOD THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIS
WHO IS OUR SAVIOUR "
:read:
 they are my brethren :smoke: and my fellows
Who are ready to get :naughty: with those " RELEGION " :haha:
AS THEY SAY " DONT EXPECT US TO BE SOFT AND GENTLE "
2 Peter: 3. 10. But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief, in which the heavens shall pass away with great violence, and the elements shall be melted with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it, shall be burnt up. 11. Seeing then that all these things are to be dissolved, what manner of people ought you to be in holy conversation and godliness?
12. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the Lord, by which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with the burning heat?
13. But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to his promises, in which justice dwelleth.

:takbo: hope everybody got the message :sisid:

I like Joel O. he speaks to the common man. That's why so many people buy his books and listen to his services on TV. I weary of people who condemn him for being blessed and happy about it, then when he tries to share this with people so they too can be blessed, the Christians who have been baptized sort of speak in lemon juice., can't understand his joy and think it must be dishonest so they condemn him. Sad some Christians can't believe God blesses another brother enough for them to openly smile to the world and say so.

Listened to Paul Washer and didn't come away with anything but oppression condemnation and ridicule., and I find his open sarcasm very annoying.
Oppression, condemnation and ridicule?

If a doctor who knows that his patient is suffering from heart cancer, yet he didn't tell the patient about it, but just ask him to smile, be happy and you will have your best life now. What will you say to such doctor?

Jesus came not into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. The Gospel is the good news!! :)
I assume you are referring to John 3: 17.

I wish you would have read at least one or two verse after.

John 3:18-19
18 “He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation: that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Can these teachings be found in Joel Osteen's book or preaching? If not, that's not the full counsel of gospel. That's what I was talking about.

Are you confusing Jesus and Paul with Osteen and Washer?
Not at all. Where do Christian's teachings and examples came from?

First and foremost Jesus, then Paul. Nobody is confusing Jesus and Paul with Osteen and/or Washer.

No, this is not a competition.
Just an implementation of 2 Timothy 4.

True, brother. Teachers will be judged by greater condemnation.
