Maybe this forum need to do a study on the Levitical Priesthood so folks can understand the OT Testament Priesthood.
I believe this division is among the Jews Priesthood and Christian Priesthood. It seems to me, Paul created a schism between the two, Jews and Christians. I am starting to wonder about an issue and it might be true I am afraid.

[h=1]Deuteronomy 18Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Provisions for the Levites[/h]18 “The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi, will have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They will eat the Lord’s fire offerings; that is their[a][b]inheritance. 2 Although Levi has no inheritance among his brothers, the Lord is his inheritance, as He promised him. 3 This is the priests’ share from the people who offer a sacrifice, whether it is an ox, a sheep, or a goat; the priests are to be given the shoulder, jaws, and stomach. 4 You are to give him the firstfruits of your grain, new wine, and oil, and the first sheared wool of your flock. 5 For Yahweh your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes to stand and minister in His name from now on.[c] 6 When a Levite leaves one of your towns where he lives in Israel and wants to go to the place the Lord chooses, 7 he may serve in the name of Yahweh his God like all his fellow Levites who minister there in the presence of the Lord. 8 They will eat equal portions besides what he has received from the sale of the family estate.[d]

The Levitical Priesthood traces through the three sons of Levi, through the Sadducees until it went extinct at the death of Christ, when it was replaced with the Priesthood of Christians which endures until the second coming.

Could you be more specific?

I was thinking out loud. I will never share the specifics on this forum because folks debate to much and I am about learning. Thank you for asking.

That is one of the benefits of discussion with other members of the Body, they can help us with the things we are in doubt about.

There is nothing wrong with Debate, given the fact that most of us are pretty confident in our views. The Word of God is the Mediator among us, and we can benefit from the studies of our brothers and sisters.

And I do not see how you could be "about learning" if you are only making declarations. That is not learning...that is teaching, which should be approached with caution:

James 3:1

King James Version (KJV)

3 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Also...it's just not fair to hint at a question and then withhold it, lol.

;)

God bless.
