In the past 7 days 250 significant earthquakes have hit the world! It seems to me that is amazing.
Jesus said that there will be earthquakes in various places when he spoke on the mount of olives. Now I know earthquakes are nothing new but the number and the frequency certainly is.
Also in 2nd Timothy 3:1-9 Paul talks about the character of people in the last days. Can anyone read that and tell me that it doesn't fit the majority of people in this world now? Of coarse it does!
And as far as the state of the church (the body of Christ) goes. As a whole we are in bad shape. "I know, speak for myself right" But how many of you know people that say they are christians and know next to nothing about God's Holy Word--the Bible. In 2 Timothy 2:15 God says through Paul "study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth"(K.J.V) With that being said In revelations jesus had John right a letter to the 7 churches in Asia. I Believe that those were a 3 prong message. 1 of which is to describe the state of the church from then until the second coming. And I believe that we are in the age of the church of Laodicea. The luke warm church.
With that being said I think that we as christians should strive to be more loving. remember the parable of the talents? (Matt.25:14-30) Well I hope for Jesus to say 'well done good and faithful servant' When the time comes. Because No one knows the day or the hour but God. But We were instructed to keep watch! For the season is now.

I am in full agreement with you for I also believe that we are in the end times and I also think that we are at the beginning of the "great falling away". I think that we should be bold exhorters of the truth; challenging the false prophets and those who are weak in their walk with Christ to return to their first love and to stand fast. I to desire to hear Christ say "Well done!" but I am afraid that in these trying times many of us will not stand, finding it easier to give in rather than stand fast. Ref Matthew 24:9-11 9"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people."

I also think that we need to be bolder in our witness to the non-believers. We need to challenge them with the word so that they will hear and understand and turn a willing heart to Christ. Jesus is coming with a sword that will penetrate and divide. What is he calling for us to do? Again Matthew 24:12-14 "12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

The time is now and the call is ours. Let us respond boldly with firm loveing hearts so that none should perish!

I'm not too worried about it. Could be soon, could be another thousand years. My focus is on my time here on earth, not on the afterlife.
