The Bible does not give any explicit teaching on whether pets/animals have “souls” or whether pets will be in heaven. However, we can use general biblical principles to develop some clarity on the subject. The Bible states that both man (Genesis 2:7) and animals (Genesis 1:30; 6:17; 7:15, 22) have the “breath of life”; that is, both man and animals are living beings. The primary difference between human beings and animals is that humanity is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27), while animals are not

God created the animals and said they were good (Genesis 1:25). Therefore, there is no reason why there could not be pets on the new earth (Revelation 21:1). There will most definitely be animals during the millennial kingdom (Isaiah 11:6; 65:25).

One thing we know, they don't go to hell...

Romans 8:19-22 KJVS
[19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

There will be animals during the millennium, but I'm not sure if our pets would be there. I hope our pets inherit heaven and the new earth, I don't know. But this I know: they will surely not go to hell!
So animal lovers, comfort yourselves with the fables of the rainbow bridge! Someday God will make it clear to us, and we will be in perfect agreement with his answer.

...Do pets go to Heaven?...
I'll let my dog "Spot" answer this one!

"Woof! Woof!"

There you are, that's quite definitive, straight from the dog's mouth!

Well I can easily say since the bible doesn't actually say it must not be true but when we look at God's nature we can come to the conclusion that they will be.
Think of it this way, in heaven it's well- heaven anything we could ever desire is there for us and God basically wants to spoil us when we get there so if we loved our pets wouldn't it stand to reason they would be there?

Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward,

and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

The Bible states that both man (Genesis 2:7) and animals (Genesis 1:30; 6:17; 7:15, 22)
have the “breath of life”; that is, both man and animals are living beings.
-yes What was formed from material from the ground became a soul.

The word “soul” is translated from Hebrew, the word nephesh.
The Hebrew nephesh merely means a breathing animal.

the first breath, “breath of life”; God only started the the breathing process.

animals are called nephesh in: Genesis 1:20, “moving creature” (Hebrew, nephesh);
Genesis 1:21, “great whales, and every living creature” (Hebrew, nephesh);
Genesis 1:24, “living creature” (Hebrew, nephesh).

The translators in translating into the English language used the English word “creature
but in Genesis 2:7 they translated the same nephesh into the English word “soul”

—man became a “living soul” (nephesh). creature, beast

The word nephesh literally means “life of animals,” referring to physical life
and not spirit, the soul is physical, composed of matter, and can die.

19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them:
as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath
no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God
might manifest them, and that they might see that [they themselves] are beasts.

The primary difference between human beings and animals is that humanity
is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27), while animals are not.

- yes the fact that man was [made in] the image and likeness of God is special, also that.....

8 But there is a [spirit in man]: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

- this it what imparts thought, it seperates mans brain and thoughts from animals instints.

And for what sins will animals be sent to Hell? Name one.
