I posed this as a question, but it is actually true. The Second Coming is given in the Bible. The 2000 year period to the return of Christ is given in many places. The year was given by Jesus to the disciples at the meeting of the risen Christ on the seashore. The day and hour are not known as far as I know, but Jesus equates the Second Coming with the restoration of Israel, which has already happened. This is considered to be officially 1948, but its government was created in 1947, and the mass influx of Jews was in 1946. The German army went into retreat when we entered the war in 1944 on D-Day, so the war was in reality over then. Israel couldn't be a free nation until the war was over, so June 6th, 2016 may be the actual day of the Return of Christ. I'll write more later.

I suspect Sept 2018 at the earliest.. All the things that still need to happen can't possibly occur next year. But then again, who really knows?

obvious statement, not to be a smart mouth, but when Christ said " no one knows the hour", this includes everyone. so, know one knows means no one knows.

BTW. The German army was in retreat from 1943 in Russia, so you may need to recalculate a bit. I would set the date from the battle of minsk in 1943, not June 6 1944

Also not trying to be a smart mouth, but to just ask a question: did not Christ rebuke those who could not, or would not...recognize the signs of His first and Second Coming?

That Day will not come upon us as a thief as it will the unbelieving population of the world. I don't see that as simply referring to the Rapture, but recognizing that the Lord Himself gave many signs that pertain to His Return.

Prior to UN Resolution 181 the generations of those days could not foresee a scenario which we can, which is a political figure allowing them to resume Temple services. That is a real possibility in this day.

While I agree that no man knows the day or hour, I disagree with the thought we are not to be watchful and believe we can see signs which signal the nearim of that time in which the Lord will return.

Even so...come Lord Jesus!

There have been signs revealed to man since the day of Pentecost............so, let's not try to narrow it down to a specific year or some such............ :)

The date for the "return" of the Jews was actually 1844 following an Edict issued by the Ottoman Empire under pressure by the Western Powers most notably the British. This is a well established fact. Another load of old cods wallop. People have studied the Bible for centuries. If it contained the exact year the second coming will take place everyone would have known about it years ago.
