"For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father”?
Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”? And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all God’s angels worship him.”In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”

The scripture above is making a distinction between Jesus and angels, demonstrating that Jesus is not an angel. Also the fact that God the Father says, "Let all God's angels worship him" would demonstrate that Jesus is God, for according to God's word we are to worship God only and him only are we to serve. Also, in the following verse God the Father refers to the Jesus as God:

"But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

The Son, Jesus, is being worshiped by the angels because he's one of the persons of the God-head. That being said, Satan is a created being and Jesus is eternal God having no beginning or ending, Alpha and Omega, First and Last, God Almighty!

No, they are total opposites.

For starters Jesus is the Word of God, formed of the Spirit of God into flesh in the form of a man crucified and resurrected to save mankind.

Satan by contrast is a lowly animal, even a dragon made of flesh that is cursed above all animals for his lies which beguiled woman to let death enter the world.

Jesus tells the truth, Satan tells lies (meaning of title Devil).

Jesus is the true dawn bringer and bright and morning star.

Satan has no light in him to be found at all.

Jesus is the light that took on the mantle of flesh to redeem man. He is the vindication of the true prophets.

Satan is a dragon that masquerades as an angel of light to beguile false prophets (ie: Joseph Smith, Muhammad, etc.)

Jesus is the firstborn of creation, even the Word through whom all life and creation came and the only hope for us to dwell eternally in new heavens and earth.

Satan is the first sinner through whom all death came and the reason why heaven and earth must perish and all men must die once.

It goes on and on. Praise Jesus for he hath overcome the world and the wiles of the dragon. A good example indeed is the Temptation in the Wilderness account (Luke 4).

If Paul was blameless in the law why would he need a Savior? Don't forget that God's plan and wants to gather all things into Christ not just humans. I'm not trying to start an argument or anything just a reminder that we can't ignore certain verses to make since of others.

Satan is a created being. Jesus Christ is God incarnate so He is without beginning and without end. Satan or Lucifer certainly has an end in the lake of fire.

but I agree God is the Creator and Satan was created. Sorry for the misunderstanding I thought I was responding to a different post.

Bible says "For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" 2 Cor.

Examples to prove it:
Nothing

Examples to disprove it:
The whole freaking Bible

And Jesus and Satan aren't total opposites. That would suggest that they're equal in power but different. Jesus is much greater than Satan. Satan is probably more on the same level as an archangel, like Michael or something.

In addition to what I posted in post #2, Scripture shows that not only is Jesus not the spiritual brother of Satan, but that he created Satan and all the angels, as can be seen in the following:

"The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

I'm curious as to why you ask this when you already know. I hope there's some spiritual relevance to this thread.:)

No. There are many verses in the bible that call Jesus God's ONLY Son.

2 Tim 3:16-17
16All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Yep. He used to be one, back when he was Lucifer. It was him (Lucifer), Michael, and Gabriel. Then Lucifer rebelled and deceived his angels (the other angels in his group) too so they all fell and became Satan and his demons.
