Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second tie. After that, have nothing to do with him. - Titus 3:10.

I think a lot of us need to learn how to warn, teach, and simply walk away like the Bible tells us to.

Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, becasue you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind ot everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grand them repentance leading them to a knowledge of truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. - 2 Tim 2:23-26

When you are rude, pushy, keep on warning someone and bringing up how wrong they are, keep an arguement going, or simply bring stuff up that you KNOW is going to cause trouble, you are not being a good servant of the Lord.

I think CC would be a much nicer place, more inviting and more condusive to learning if we could learn how to deal with people who disagree with us more like Paul and God told us we should

Good post. There are some posts that I intentionally don't respond to because I know it isn't beneficial to anyone at all, to respond to it. Even if I disagree with what someone says, I have no need to show anyone that I think I am right, and I don't need to add fuel to the wrong fire. I am okay with people disagreeing with me and I am quite happy that some people disagree with me. If everyone agreed with me then the church would be in trouble because that would mean everyone was trying to be like me instead of like Jesus. Everyone was created to display a different expression of God and different opinions shouldn't be scary to people if you are secure in yours. It is one thing to say that you disagree and completely another to press the issue because the person doesn't agree with you.

I think for us on this site, the "have nothing to do with him" part should be put into practice by banning people.

Hi Harley
I just right clicked the pic and copied. It worked.
Someone else said we ban people. I say not. God came for the lost.

It says we should have nothing to do with them.

People who start divisive arguments know the bible. They know what it really says. They just want to believe it says something else, and seek approval from others regarding their views.

I believe we should show these people the door. They have their bibles - let them work out their own salvation and faith.
