.........do people answer? Well, some do, but many do not.........

Scripture tells us that God "draws" his people (calls his people).......unto Christ.......BUT, it is important and necessary that those "drawn/called" answer............

[h=1]John
6:43[/h]
43.) Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

44.) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

[h=1]Acts
24:24[/h]
24.) And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

25.) And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

I hope all who are drawn near accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior......

[SUP]Mark 4 verse 10 [/SUP]And when he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables. [SUP]11 [/SUP]And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, [SUP]12 [/SUP]so that “they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.”

[SUP]John 17 verse 6 [/SUP]“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me 9I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.

You know he called me before I was saved, at least twice I encountered him the first was when I truly wanted to be saved but I couldn't make that connection with him I was literally leaving the church sermon bawling the second was him fulfilling the scriptures when he says when we call out to him he will answer because I was at a point in my life where I was all alone and very sad I remember crying and as I was going to sleep I begged him to show me he is real and that I am not all alone in this world.

He answered all right, that very night I fell asleep and the next thing I know I am in a pure white place and I was standing right next to God the father I couldn't see him physically but he was standing right there and in front of us was the river of the most beautiful and vivid rainbow so much so the beauty of it made me cry. He said to me this river was his plan now as for if it was his plan for me or for the world I don't know but all I could do was ty for showing me this over and over in my tears.And yet even this wasn't enough for me to give my heart to him it wasn't until much later that he became mine.

He was calling me way before I was saved but I did not respond

Every morning I wake up with the thought reflecting Samuel's answer to God: "Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening."

Time spent listening to His voice and responding as I read the scriptures is the most dynamic time of the day.

I don't always trust what comes in my dreams as much as what comes into my ear as I read the bible. It's so much safer.

If I am about to do something I maybe shouldn't I seem to get a nudge almost like the angel on your shoulder it makes me question the action I may be about commit.
I know this is God speaking asking should you be about to do that it's awesome to know this years ago before I found God I would never think twice about anything I did. Thankyou God.....

“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live."

Jesus speaking in John 5:25

I was also dead to Him when He called, yet I heard and recognized His voice.

When God calls ... it is imperative that one answer ... here is a solid warning from Jesus concerning that:

John 12

34 The crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law that the Messiah will remain forever, so how can you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this ‘Son of Man’?”

35 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you.

Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. 36 Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”

When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.

37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him.
