From the OP, I would surmise that you are supporting a cessationist agenda. You ask us to google something? Fair play: you read 1 Corinthians 14 and get back to us. :)

You should stick with the discussion in the CARM forum where Catholics get banned for their defense. Raymond Taouk doesn't know what he is talking about. His article is full of holes. He erroneously equates non-unitive Catholic charismatics with legitimate Charismatics. Big difference.

Raymond Taouk is a radical traditionalist, known as radtrads in Catholic circles. Some things he writes are good, but I don't waste time with rebels. I will write more on the matter later, I have to go.

no legitimate Charismatics = exactly the same only different - see Heb.1:1-2 and also Joel 2:28 and Acts.2:17 - wincam

You pass judgment on Charismatics based on 3 verses that have nothing to do with it?
it's charismatics, not charismaniacs.

If the apostles were alive today he would black ball them also.
You are talking to a demon spirit.

Well..some of us Christians do act like maniacs sometimes...so that could apply....lol

I can just imagine what some Christian magazines and youtube vidoes would be like if they observed the day the disciples were baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Media ALert!..Drunken apostles start new church

- looks like they are drunk and it's only 9:00 in the morning..God would never act like this....He does things decently and in order...It's deception !

Imagine what the media would do if they saw Jesus "spit" in the eye of a blind person? God would never act like that - they would say!

Sometimes I Think the Lord does things just to stir us up and to keep us on our toes....and deliver us from our self-righteous know it all attitudes...I know He does this for me....

John 21:20-22:[SUP]20[/SUP]Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? [SUP]21[/SUP]Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what [shall] this man [do]? [SUP]22[/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? follow thou me.

Nope they didn't look or act drunk. The scripture says that the observers thought they were drunk because they were speaking in many languages. Thus His order is maintained :)
