I just got finished reading the book of Daniel, when a verse popped out at me:

"Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand."

- Daniel 12:10

Now i honestly think everyone has the potential to be saved, but i am almost convinced that after a time, there minds are just so altered with the world, that it would take a miracle from god himself to help the foolish, the wicked who just love this world.

I find myself wondering should i only try to get through to people I think i can save..? or who might come to Christ through my words..? This can't be correct thinking.. so i am asking for your opinions please! with this in mind:

Every decade we come closer to the end & every decade the generations become further & further from God & his words.

E.I: Think about the 20th century.. (hitler killed over 60 Million people during his reign.)
Over 170 000 000 were killed in total of wars & religious battles alone in the 20th century

Now in this 21s century i am certain that this will be the last century & time is coming to an end.
I feel as thought i want to bring as many people to Christ as i possibly can before it is over(friends + family especially..)

Jesus once said they hear, but do not understand, see but do not perceive.. it's as if the world is brain washed & it is SO SO hard to get people to open there eyes.. Shall i just pray for these people or should i do more? Prayer plus Actions = Success correct? Should i pray & then talk to them about Christ??

Please help me or give me some words of scripture to help me with my goals or to share your thoughts with mine..

Thanks, Grace be with you Always~

Yes i would say pray first and see what God shows you and then talk with them about Christ Like things and see if they evenually open up to you i did that to people and some open up and some didn't but i believe we can save many with telling them about God and what he has done for us so yes I know we can Brother Avery

according to my personal theology...the Lords draws them...then If in His
will He chooses to use men..then He will hook us up.

We are asked to be ready to share our hope when asked.
We are told to preach the gospel...which is explaining it.

We are told a servant of the Lord must not strive.

Angels are over those heirs of salvation..so wars..dark times
will not hinder their salvation. Might shorten their natural lives tho.
But so will piggin out on pork rinds. Remember John 17.

hey holytrix...

i feel your burden but remember this, it is not our work/job to save people., it's God's work..

the great commission given by God to us was to preach the Gospel :

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

it does not say anything like preach the gospel and save the people...

on how many people will be saved...only God can tell

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

so as Christian our job is to plant those seeds [preach the gospel] and the rest is up to God and that person...

and we can tell that an individual is of God because he is thirsty of the word of God . . .

:)

Interesting Wolf:

You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. 8 But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

9 Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me. In it was a scroll, 10 which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.

3 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.

3 Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.

Hmmm. 'one man eat only vegetables. Both eat for the Lord'.

Clarifies MUCH!

Yes, God is the only one who saves we can only direct them in the RIGHT way..its up to the individual to accept him or not..to give the Gospel, Good news unto people is to truly love them, God is love (not emotion)(nor lust). In the last days, which we are clearly in..(one day is a thousand years and a thousand years as one day...early on the third day Christ arose..)we have financial corruption moral decay, nuclear weapons, disease etc the world falling apart and God is filling people with his Spirit..last days!

Jude18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

acts 2.4 2.38.mark 16.15-end etc

If you want some men saved, the bible very purposely lets you believe it.

If you want all men saved, the bible very plainly tells you they will be.

All the condemnation and hell language refers to the past, present, and future of this life, not the next.

Believing all men will be saved is the only way you can have peace.

Otherwise, your children, mothers, fathers, and friends are going to "burn in hell" while you are "forced" to be happy.
Or vice versa.
That is moloch.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

[SUP]16 [/SUP]To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord God.

What's proper? To do good on the day of rest? or to do evil?

Romans 10:8) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 .) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 .) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 .) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 .) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 .) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 .) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 .) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 .) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 .) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We can't save any number of people on our own, but the Holy Spirit can work through us (use us as God's instrument) to reach as many as He wills. Some are called to preach to millions, thousands, hundreds of people. Others are called to preach to a small group, or individuals. The Body of Christ is made up of very different parts and each part has a specific role to play in furthering God's Kingdom!

James 5:13) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 .) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 .) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 .) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 .) Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 .) And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
19 .) Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 .) Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Holytrix,

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
I can totally relate to how you feel. It is hard to know what to do and what to say. I also feel that the end is near and it is important to try and help people know more about Jesus Christ. Not only to be saved, but also to live happier lives now. Following God's commandments is the happiest way to live despite what hollywood says. (speaking of brain washing:)

I have learned that with sharing about Jesus Christ, actions speak louder than words. One of the best ways to share His message is living His message. People will see that you are happy and want to know why.

I also know that when we ask God in prayer to know who to talk to and how, he answers the those prayers. We feel nudges to talk to certain people and what to say. God does the work, we just have to be willing to open our mouths.

Good luck. Thanks for your good example of wanting to share. That makes me also want to do better. :)
