Here's a Christian comedian I found who is amazing. He can keep a totally straight face while saying the most ridiculous and outrageous things about GOD's grace.

Here's some samples:

  • In order to experience lasting joy, peace and happiness and bear lasting fruit it is critical to understand that you are not supposed to serve God but...that you should let God serve you!
  • At the root of many dead religious works lies the idea that the Christian life revolves around what we do for Christ, that we are called to serve God. Nothing could be further from the truth.
  • God is not expecting you to do something for Him! He isn't asking you to serve Him. Rather, He's convincing you Christ did not come to be served, but to serve.
  • Thus, God wants you to stop serving Him and allow Him to serve you! If you have a hard time believing this then read Mark 10:45; “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
  • Since He is complete in Himself, He needs nobody to serve Him. He needs no helpers. God isn't demanding your service for He doesn't want to be served but came to serve.
  • Consequently, God is only honored when you allow Him to serve you. At the flipside if you believe you are saved to serve God you dishonor Him. Simply put, don’t serve God, He serves you!
Is that rich, or what? I can barely stop laughing! Keep this guy away from the holy laughter crowd because he would absolutely kill them with laughter!

Before we get caught up in more hysteria watching this video, let's take a little intermission to remember the words of Jesus so that we can better appreciate this guy's absurd humor.

“And which of you who has a slave plowing or shepherding [sheep] who comes in from the field will say to him, ‘Come here at once [and] recline at the table’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something that I may eat, and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and after these [things] you will eat and drink.’ He will not be grateful to the slave because he did what was ordered, [will he]? Thus you also, when you have done all the things you were ordered to do, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done what we were obligated to do.’*” Luke 17:7-10

Therefore I exhort you, brothers, through the mercies of God, to present your bodies [as] a living sacrifice, holy [and] pleasing to God, [which is] your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

That guy is a gold mine. He has a candidness that exposes very clearly the satanic apostasy of 'grace' teachings. None of this playing one's cards close to one's chest with him.

It's really an attempt to get people to expand their minds a bit and actually see what's going on in the world around them. By watching these videos one can understand why the world looks at Christians as fools.

The world is gonna hate us anyway. Unless you're a hyper-gracer that promises them carnal things. Anyway.

Every time I come in this thread..I can sense the evil in here...

..but I thought I would just leave the scripture of what he appears to have some talking points around.

Sometimes things are not exactly the way they are made to "appear" without taking the whole thing in...sometimes people hear just one thing and of course miss the whole point in some things.....and some people "add" their own words into things as well....

of course we serve the Lord but not until He serves us first by what He did for us in His finished word..

Mark 10:43-45 (NASB)
[SUP]43 [/SUP] "But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant;
[SUP]44 [/SUP] and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.
[SUP]45 [/SUP] "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

Now don't say anything bad about this great teacher.

What Does The Lord’s Prayer Look Like Under Grace? And Should You Pray It? | Communicating Grace

Thus, we can’t just take that prayer and recite that at the dinner table.

Just don’t do it.

You’ll be happier off and those around you too*

I’d better get off the toilet now,

I think his point is that it's no use to say this prayer before dinner as the Dutch reformed here do. He's right that it is a guideline. Someone had a great book on how to pray the Lord's prayer, Larry Lea. But that it's not for now is nonsense. Ian McCormack got that prayer from God just before he died and it saved him.

His attempt of adding humor is not communicating well from his dutch.....is he dutch?
Yes he's Dutch, his accent is obvious. That's also stupid things some Dutch people say. There's not much knowledge here in evangelical churches. Most people don't get good sermons since the Dutch are too cheap to pay their pastors, so they have a full time job and some free hours to fix a sermon.

I thought that was what he was getting at but I didn't know about the dutch reformed and their apparent formalism in the Lord's Prayer.

I read Larry Lea's book and followed it's teaching for awhile. it brought bondage to me as he was saying that everyone needed to pray for 1 hour. He did have some good points in his book though.

I too don't believe we are to pray exactly like the Lord's prayer is outlined as some of the prayer requests in there have been fulfilled since Jesus died and rose again.... but there are things in there that I still say thank you Lord for as I continue to see what the Lord has done for us.....just my opinion.....:)

I heard a story from Rob Rufus about going to a dutch reformed church and teaching. He also talked about ..not sure if it was in Holland or in England where the Lord told him to wave a dirty t-shirt that he had from falling while running in the rain just before he was going to speak to a room full of practicing homosexuals.

He started to give a normal sermon but finally stopped and asked for forgiveness because he wasn't doing what the Lord told him to do...and then said." I have to do what the Lord told me to do now.."..he had his dirty t-shirt in a bag and brought it out and just waved it in the air...saying nothing..

The homosexuals started to fall on their knees and commit themselves to God. Some came up to the front and threw their wedding rings on the platform.

It pays to obey the Lord ..and in this case Rob definitely heard from the Lord. Now to the religious mindset...this would all be a bunch of foolishness....but that obedience set all of those bound by the enemy free that day. I say praise God for His great love and grace towards them!
