There was once an old donkey that decided to go somewhere deserted to spend its last days. It found a suitable place, laid down and died after a few days. God looked down at the donkey and said, “I can’t use this donkey.”

Along came the vultures and foxes, picking off chunks of flesh from the donkey. It was a sorry sight. God looked down at the donkey and said, “I still can’t use this donkey.” Then, the ants and other critters of the wilderness came, and cleared up what the vultures and foxes had left behind. The donkey was now just a skeleton, but God still couldn’t use it.

Days and weeks passed, the burning sun scorching the bones of the donkey till they were totally dry and white. God looked down at what was left of the donkey and said, “Now I can use the donkey!”

Then along came Samson with his seven locks dancing in the wind. The man looked around for a weapon to wield against his enemies, and found…just an old, dried up jawbone of a donkey. And with the seemingly useless and worthless jawbone, he slew a thousand men (Judges 15:11–17).

My friend, God uses what the world deems useless and past its shelf life to accomplish amazing feats. That’s just His style. So if people have written you off, called you “useless” or treated you as insignificant, get ready! God can and is about to use you to do the impossible. He’ll transform and empower you to do what you and your critics never dreamed possible!

The gist of what Joseph Prince is saying in your OP is good, God uses the weak to show His strangth. However, I find Princes theology over looking that God indeed used the donkey before Samson got to it... You see the Ant and other critters, vultures etc, all had a good feed and cleared the decaying flesh.. the Donkey was used, and God saw that it was being used (just correcting Joseh princes views here).

But God does use those who are weak as perceived by the 'world', to show His strength. Amen to that.

It can be all of us.

Our perpetual agreement with our negative past experiences creates the biggest strongholds that block His purposes for our life.

The greatest spiritual warfare is waged against our mind in the area of our beliefs. It is not the past that is stopping us -- but our conclusions that we made about ourselves when it happened.

It is not what happened to us or what we did that disqualifies us but it's our conclusions we made about ourselves.

Getting rid of those conclusions and renewing our mind that we are a new creation in Christ is critical to our life here while we are still on this earth.

I love the teaching that God will take what is not to bring to nought what is.......... (the spell check is not accepting nought so for nought think nothing instead.)

One of the best evangelists in my local church is an illiterate garbage collector. Sometime ago he was given a chance to preach and God used him greatly.

When I was in a mental hospital I said: the revival will start in the mental hospital!! The normal ones looked at me as if I was nuts.
Now lately my ex got a dream from God. He asked God if he should stop with that church. There's only 10 people or so. He saw Jesus who put His hand in his chest and changed his heart and then he saw all these people with Down syndrom coming and they all got healed when he laid hands on them and their families came and were enthousiastic and in one day it was a very big church. I believe it.

Corrie ten Boom worked with kids with Down syndrom and things like that. Her father said: God may find this work what you do with them the most important.

This statement about how our greatest spiritual warfare is waged against our mind is MAJOR. What we think and what we believe about God and ourselves will make or break us in our Christian walk. The truth will set us free but we first have to believe it - for and in ourselves. (DAILY) Truth cannot set us free if we don't believe it. That is why so many Christians are dying for lack of knowledge and truth.

The enemy knows this and uses our mind and emotions against us every day because we are not aware of his tactics. We are not to be ignorant of him and his many schemes. 2 Cor.2:10
[SUP]
11 [/SUP]to keep Satan from taking advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

Instead of a frontal attach, what he does is brings about accusation and condemnation (he is the accuser of the brethren) so we see ourselves outside of God's conclusions about us. The enemy doesn't want us to know how loved we are IN Christ as sons. he doesn't want us to THINK of the love of God in Christ.

What the enemy does is gets us to THINK on our own failures especially from the past., getting our eyes off of Christ and on to ourselves in the flesh.

The enemy comes with accusation and condemnation. Many believers think this is the Holy Spirit convicting them so they feel guilty. The Holy Spirit never condemns the believer or accuses the believer or belittles the believer.

The Holy Spirit constantly reminds us of who we are now IN Christ. That IN Christ we are not condemned and by the grace given to us as true sons, we are forgiven and can get back to walking on the right path without guilt. We are forgiven and dealt with as sons. He chastens us with His Word and we see our flesh in light of our new man.., we can make the proper adjustments and move a head free of condemnation and guilt.

Guilt and condemnation are not something the Holy Spirit uses. Guilt and condemnation will weigh us down and do no good. They stunt us and stop us from walking., What they actually do is sooth our desire to "appease" our own way apart from Christ. So we stay away from God and punish ourselves to show God how bad we really feel and that we are not worthy to come to Him after what we did.

Jesus has ALREADY appeased on the cross. Believing Jesus has done ALL to appease and done ALL to make our way clear to move on.,..THAT confidence in HIM - from us, will glorify Him, AND give us the power to walk in newness of life. Faith in Christ is always the victory.

As you said Grace777 "it is not what happened to us or what we did that disqualifies us but it's our conclusions we made about ourselves." It's really about who do we believe? Our conclusions or God's conclusions in the matter of who and what we are?

If we CHOSE to believe ourselves above God., we are not seeing by faith and trusting in JESUS. God won't force us to take the truth He freely gives us. It's our responsibility to believe Him and to walk by faith and not by sight or guilt or condemnation. There is therefore now NO condemnation. We have the gift of NO condemnation and many are not walking in the promises that can free them and untangle their minds.

When our minds are on Christ, we can soar as eagles and anything is possible. In Christ we are righteous and loved. We are sons and heirs of the promise. Saints beloved., the bride of Christ.,kings and priests..

In Christ we have all things pertaining to life and godliness. If there is any thought or teaching that has us focus on self and not Christ it is poison. It's always about Jesus and what He has done. We receive from Him every day and our minds are renewed to the truth and even more truth.

As you say, it is critical to our life here while we are still on this earth.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on [SUP][a][/SUP]so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own.

[SUP]13 [/SUP][SUP][b][/SUP]Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,

[SUP]14 [/SUP]I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you.

Amen grace777!

Here are some more Scriptures to consider:

"Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." 1 Cor 1:20-21

"Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness." 1 Cor 3:18-19
