God's promises...post something positive

[3] And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord , to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

As mentioned last night, this is what I've always found to be the most beautiful passage of the Bible. If it doesn't stir you in an encouraging way and isn't a slice of heaven, who knows what would stir you. I was going to apologize for so long a post, but it's the word of God, decided I shouldn't have to apologize for a few screens, when people have no problem reading hundreds of pages of some novel. Anyway, this is where I want to be, so much fading to insignificance when reading this, one of the great blessings promised from reading the book of Revelation. By the way, I think this thread and a music thread are the best threads here, great idea, and thank you!

Revelation 21 & 22

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Today I am thankful for this site. All the hard work that RoboOps and the moderators do with no monetary compensation to maintain a site that is somewhat sheltered from the crudeness and vulgarity currently found on the internet. I thank God for all the friends I made through this site and pray that God continues to move in noticeable ways in their lives. Help us all to remember Your blessings Lord and give us a humble heart to be filled with Your love. We give you thanks for everything you have done and ask your wisdom to see how we might bring your light and love to the world. Help us o Lord to speak words of life and not hate, words that bring hope in a world filled with despair.

God fill out hearts with your overflowing love and peace so that we might share it with those around us. Remind us that this world is not our home. We are but travelers looking for lost family members to help them find their way back home to that Heavenly kingdom. Help us to remember that you have overcome the world and that through you all things are possible, help our minds and hearts be align with Your will.Glory to God and peace to all my brothers and sisters. May the God of Heaven and earth bless you abundantly with more than you shall every need. Not only on material needs but spiritual gifts, and may you find ways to pass the blessings onto others today.

Oh sinners repent and turn back to God while it is still Today! For God loves you and wants you to walk in the light, not the darkness. For God will forgive you, He doesn't want money, He doesn't want your perfection, He doesn't want good works. He wants your humble and repentant heart.

For he can heal you, He can break the chains of sin, lies and despair.

Jesus is at the door and knocking, have you let him into your heart?

Galatians 3:16

The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ.
