It seems to me that we have gone so far off course when it comes to true Christianity.

Sooo many variations these days (which was preached against in the NT - splitting up into little groups) and now with ALL other religions being given the red carpet in our country I just sit here bewildered.

Will we ever unite under Christ? Will we ever present a "show of force" to the world?
Sadly I think the time has past. Some of you may hold out hope but looking back at history and reading the tea leaves... it is bound to get worse.

It saddens me because a majority will be lost forever.

What really kills me (literally I think) is that the Catholic Church is the representation to the world of Christian living!

How down right wrong in my opinion to have such a corrupted "organization" be the beacon of light to the world.

Not until 'Zion is plowed like a field.'

Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed [as] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. Micah 3:12

btw for those not familiar with its particular history, Zion was the hill where the city of David lay, and some think the temple as well. If you look at pictures from the mid- to late-1800s of the original Mt Zion, it is covered with fields. Nary a sign of the old city.

When you add flesh to the Living waters it brings forth divisions and the curse. When God instructed His house to be built He said there were to be no man made tools heard in it. When building the altar of stone, God said no tools of men where to touch them, it was to be made of whole stones untouched by mans devices.

It is the same with God's Holy Temple, no doctrines of men shall be heard or found in it, just pure Light undefiled by carnal man.

God's people make up the holy city being like living stones undefiled, God's people make up the heavenly Zion, and when the Lord brings again Zion, then His people shall see eye to eye. This unity can only be accomplished by the power and Spirit of God.

Isaiah 51:16 "And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

Isaiah 52:8
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.

The bible warns that more and more will fall away from the faith as time progresses and we get closer to the end.

Many, including myself hope Christ will come today...others are waiting until certain events happen first...

Reading the tea leaves?

Sorry but that struck me the wrong way.

Fortunetelling and divination are really spoken against in the Bible.

Yes people fight and bicker but I choose to see the plants that grow among the weeds.

Those people who dig deep into God's Word and learn to fellowship and function within the Body of Christ.

Great and amazing things have been done in God name, through His power by he hand of His people.

There is so many lies in the world but His Holy Spirit lets us see the truth.

For example, I read in the prayer forum that some people in South Africa rape young virgin girls as a "cure" for AIDS.

I think all who read that are as horrified as I to think of the lies and perversions the world tells itself.

However we can stand for truth and justice and renounce and maybe prevent such practices. Of nothing else we can pray and trust God to tell us what we need to do.

Jesus is the Light. The day to stand up is Today.

Why wait for some universal church movement?

Why not be one?

Every day is a revolution. Every day God revels the lies the world has placed upon us as chains.

Every day He gives us truth to overcome the lies.

The revolution started with Jesus, will it continue with you?

Will you do what the world expects..selfishness, self righteous judgment of others....or will you humble yourself and esteem others more than yourself, love them enough to forgive them and cover their transgressions against you, turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, learn to be a functioning member of the living breathing Body of God. Walking in the work God created and redeemed you to do, using the gifts of the spirit to the fullest

[Our hope for real change.] Changed hearts change people which preach/live a message which changes hearts...

Romans 1:16 KJVS
[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Since you've already divided yourself into the "NT" group, don't you think that's part of the problem?
A. Believing the OT doesn't count at all?
B. Dividing into groups?

And, don't you see God as the one who has already won, is winning, and will win?

In my mind, every single human ever conceived is worthy of separation from God, death, and hell because we willfully sin. And yet God has chosen himself a people and by his own strength of will and action created a way to consider them worthy of eternity with him, life, and heaven.

Yes, it is sad that some won't get that. Particularly sad for me because I see my dad as being in that group that will get the punishment we all deserve and many of my siblings will join him. Yet, God, the Almighty, in his love and mercy granted pardon through himself for whosoever will believe.

I am sure God will fix this in me when he comes, but, NO! I don't want him to come today. I know what his judgement is for my blood family. I keep praying that his mercy comes on them before he returns.

I have never understood the people who cry both for all the lost and the immediate return of Christ. I'm praying God restores some more lost before the end. I know he is waiting for the perfect time to do that.

Besides, on a purely selfish note, I really want to see how God resolves this situation with my hubby. Surely he didn't have hubby go through 13 weeks of fighting for his life in a hospital just to say, "April Fools! It's all over. It didn't mean anything, but, hey, you don't have to pay the bill." lol

Our Lord Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world. He meant not of this present world and time. But there are some who think this world is His Kingdom, which is a certain type of deception in itself.

Belief in The Father and His Son is still very strong in the hearts and minds of many peoples on earth today. That's where His true Church is today, not with man's organizational systems. Because this world is assigned to imperfection and Satan is given control over it until Christ Jesus comes, there is no system organization on earth that won't be under direct control or direct attack by him.

But in the spiritual, he cannot touch us. By The Holy Spirit through Jesus, we have even been given power over him and his demons.

Per prophecy of the end per the Book of Daniel, we are shown the power of God's people on earth in the last days is to wain, reduced. That's about physical power, not our spiritual power in Christ Jesus. Our spiritual power in Christ is to be increased in contrast. So the battle here is to become more spiritual than physical.

In the early days of the western Christian nations, the Christian kingdoms had much physical, literal power upon the earth. But even then, Satan tricked God's people to fight against each other. Since then, the power of the Christian nations have been slowly going into the hands of our enemies. This must happen to fulfill God's Word for the end. So it's not like He didn't already warn us about these times in His Word, for He did.

Hey, but the battle isn't over here on earth. We still have something to do, all the way to the end of this world.

Something in Bible prophecy that is seldom taught regarding the coming tribulation, is how some of Christ's elect are to be delivered up to given a Testimony for Christ against the beast, by The Holy Spirit (Mark 13). Jesus told us to not premeditate what we will say in that hour, because it won't be us that speaks, but The Holy Spirit. And in one place He said even the gainsayer won't be able to resist what The Holy Spirit will speak in that hour. That will be the actual manifesting of the cloven tongue of Pentecost again, but per the Joel 2 prophecy just prior to the "day of the Lord". And I believe that Witness for Christ will be aired to all nations.

So Satan and the wicked on earth have a personal rebuking coming in the near future sent directly from God by The Holy Spirit, through us. It will convict the hearts of many of the deceived and Satan's popularity in the poles will then drop drastically. It will rile Satan up so much, that his final act will be to bring his armies out of the northern quarters (Ezek.38-39) upon God's Israel to try and destroy us once and for all off the earth, which is when our Lord Jesus will step in to burn them up on that final day of Armageddon.

I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
and no message could have been any clearer:
If you want to make the world a better place you better look at yourself and make a change

Hello ramx2016.

You are not alone on this one either!

I believe variations from the precepts, principles and teachings of Scripture is what is warned against here. Splitting up into little groups, for example, for a small home bible study is a wonderful thing. And nowhere in Scripture forbidden or discouraged that I know of??

Will we ever unite under Christ? Will we ever present a "show of force" to the world?

This is where I see it happening...
[SUP]
11 [/SUP]And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Expecting this to happen here on the earth is Kingdom Now theology.
What is Kingdom Now teaching?

Blessings.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

Hello Depleted. I have no doubt you know this...

[SUP]9 [/SUP]The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

If one of the two, I believe wanting Him to hurry is the selfish position. I know because I have wanted him to hurry for my own personal reasons and was convicted about others that I am completely unaware of. Not directing this at anyone. But myself.

Even caring when it occurs is a form of 'date setting' IMO. "Lord, I don't care what date you come for me... as long as it TODAY!"

You unquestionably have His spirit on the matter.

Grace to you.
