You're wrong.

The bible clearly states that when they would eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad that they would die.
That was the beginning, the first choice of doing wrong, and so they started dying.
Yes, satan rules this world and so do people.
Satan and people influenced by him, by others, by themselves, they change nature, mix matter, treat themselves, animals, earth bad.

It is common sense that sickness comes from this.
God does not "take people" nor make them sick.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Jehovah's Witness. That explains so much! Gotcha. Not the real God but the one created by committee.

And yet another way to get inbound links for great SEO to advertise JW's all over the Net, whether we want them or not.

Sickness does NOT exist because of stupidity.. It exists because we live in a fallen, evil world in which satan is free to wreak havoc as he sees fit. That being said, satan did not, and does not create sickness. God gives us trials every day, so obviously he DOES try us.
He's JW. He's just out to market his cause.

My cause? You'd think Christians have the same cause.
Studying the bible and applying it.

Oddly some here seem to share the idea that they are above the bible and should change it or not read it at all.

Personally I'm comfortable with what it actually says.

Jesus was showing us what we can do once we become one with Him, then we be consider as the son of man, the sons of human origin, the ones that truly believes in Him.

Matthew 9:6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”

Satan doesn't rule this world,

It's a lie too many people believe.

Yes God heals and will give us new bodies that will not suffer.

These body we currently have are dying, they are loaners.

God gives us enough energy to accomplish the task He created us for then we get to go home to Him,

We are in the middle of a spiritual war. Illness is a wound the enemy inflicts upon us to incite us to turn God and His will for our lives.

Jesus could have prayed and had 10000 angels March and destroy His enemies in Jerusalem. However, He prayed for the cup to be passed from Him (for to die on the cross is a bitter cross to drink and the human heart wishes to avoid pain and suffering), but instead of running away or fighting back. Jesus accepted God's will and died for our sins.

He asked us to pick up our cross and follow Him.

He did not promise no illness.
He did not promise earthly wealth.
He did not promise untold magic wishes.

He promised eternal life, heavenly glory, a life of servanthood and suffering.

Would you trade His promises for the glitter petite of the false health and wealth gospel some claim?

Those ministers are dark clouds without rain, they are. Dry wells with no life giving water.

Their promises are for this world. They take people's money and hope and spend it selfishly.

God didn't promise you a new car,

He promised you a new life and heart.

[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"]Do you know that it is God’s will for you to be healed? In fact, Jesus always healed the sick who came to Him. The blind, lame, maimed, mute, deaf and demon-possessed—He healed them all! (Matthew 8:16)

The Bible says that he who has seen Jesus has seen the Father. (John 14:9) You want to see what God is like? Look at Jesus! He never gave sickness to anybody. You never find Jesus looking at a person, a fine specimen of a man, and saying, “Come here. You are too healthy. Receive some leprosy!” In fact, when a leper came to Him for healing, Jesus, full of compassion, told the leper, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

Unfortunately, there are some Christians who say, “It is God’s will for me to be sick. God has some purpose, some mysterious purpose for my situation. It is all part of His divine plan and we shall all know in the sweet by and by, the reason why!” But these same people go to their doctors to get well. They take their medication and rest. Why do they do that if they really believe that God wants them sick? Doesn’t make sense, does it?

Come on, what makes perfect sense is this: God wants you well. He wants you whole. His will is for you to be healed! In fact, He is so willing that He took all your sicknesses and diseases upon His own body, so that you don’t have to suffer them today! He allowed Himself to be beaten and scourged, so that by His scourging—by His stripes—you are healed! (Isaiah 53:5) Since He has already suffered the sickness on your behalf, why should you suffer it today?

So my friend, if you are sick, know that God did not give you the disease. Read every healing miracle that Jesus did in the Gospels and see how Jesus is the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26) Hear His gracious words, “I am willing, be healed,” and know that they are as much for you today as they were for the leper!

We still have volitional responsibility Grace777. Something I have never looked into.......how many drunks were healed of liver problems in Jesus Day? How many prostitutes were cured from std's? Not saying that God won't heal these issues for His Glory at times. But the vast majority will reap what they sow.

I can't smoke all my life. And then drop to my knees and pray God takes away the consequences of my choice.

And the other side of this is that suffering is in the plan of God. It is not about getting out of the suffering. It's ALL about how we handle the suffering. Some of us may have that " thorn" in us till the day we die.

Life is 10% about our circumstances and 90% on how we HANDLE those circumstances.

Suffering for blessing/ undeserved suffering. It is evidence testing of our faith.........The Book of Job.

13, “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”Phil 4

1 Peter 4:19 (NASB95)
19 Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

"James 1:13
When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone."

This verse really interested me, inasmuch as we are not to "say/speak/proclaim/BRAG" (like a pharisee), that one is being "tried" by God. And He does not Himself "try" anyone. However, with the authority that God has? He CAN send an evil spirit to "try/proof/breakdown/proof" someone.

And Another note. Prosperity and having great health and having a nice cushy life is the HARDEST test of them all.

99% of us leave God and go our own way when everything seems great.

Most of us are suffering in some area because God knows we wouldn't pass the prosperity test..........we would think we didn't need Him anymore.

What is the suicide rate for lottery winners? Divorce rate? addiction rate?broken relationship rate?

Most of us would fail the prosperity test. We don't have the capacity.

And yes, God wants us to have wealth, health and a good life...........but he cares that we have the capacity to handle it first.

I'd like to see you try back up saying that satan and the people believing his lies do not rule this world.

There is disease, death, war, hunger.
Not Jesus nor God himself is actively ruling at this time on earth or they have gotten ill themselves.
Your statement goes against the bible as well as common sense.

As for the new bodies... There are many people who will survive and then yes, there are also those that will be resurrected with new bodies.
The bible does not say that earth will be destroyed nor that everyone will die.

And when you start talking about energy, you're entering a realm of hocus pocus.
Energy simply is not. It's a hypothetical potential.
Is and is not is what matters. We have free will to believe or believe not something but only when you are motivated and backed by what is, will you live the longest life if only our surrounding was healthy.

It just does not work and is not the way you claim things to be.
It's not backed by the bible nor common sense but false seemingly credible thesis rules this era of"science".

Energy is as real as time. Do you believe that the oast still exists as well or that you can fly to the future implying that everything is preset?
It's unbacked theoretical makebelief.

But yes, we are in a spiritual war.
The war where satan tries to convince you to believe makebelief instead of reading and applying the bible. We live in his system.

The bible is very clear about this fact and the why and how.

And he DID promise no illness and death, Jehovah himself did,
But first Jesus kingdom will soon, after the great suppression, rule for 1000 years
during that time we will heal

And thats not the end of it....
Did you read the bible at all...

I'm not sure what you mean by "you dont get a new car".
I also never denied new life and heart.
Though the exact interpretation/meaning may be very different.

*For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.*Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling,*because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.*For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. - 2 Corinthians 5:1-4 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2Corinthians5:1-4&version=NIV

*And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.*I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.*Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—*in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.*For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. - 1 Corinthians 15:49-53 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Corinthians15:49-53&version=NIV

Again wrong.... This applies to a select group of 144.000 exactly who are resurrected to rule with Jesus.

I'm guessing you missed the promise of a restored earthly paradise as well which is the whole point of the bible.
