We are taught a thousand years is as a day when it has passed to our Father.
We know that when Jesus walked His earth, or if you wish, Yeshua walked His earth, the calendar used was the Hebrew lunar calendar.
The current year, according to the calendar of our Lord, is 5776. This date is provided by the genealogies supplied in It begins with Adam in Genesis.
Now because of the law forbidding adding to or taking away from the Word of God is observed strictly by Hebrew scholars, the year 5776 is not accurate because several of the genealogies do not suply the years of the people referenced, thus the true Hebrew year now would have to be somewhere between 5776 and the lunar year 6000.
Does this teach us that the 6000 years of man since Adam are much closer than any man realizes?
If these years passed are akin to the Godly week, are we on the verge of God's designated Seventh Day? The year 6000 would be the beginning of the Seventh Millennium.
Keeping in mind the years of life variance in the genealogies of Genesis, the Seventh could begin any time.
It is incumbent upon me to always give my effort to keeping things in the order given me by my Father and yours, so I will always remember His Sabbath in the order He gives it for it is His gift to all mankind to rest with Him for the work of the previous six days.
I cannot deny the order our Father has given us, for it tells the entire story. Mankind's six days of labor are coming to the Rest of our Father; it is His gift to us all.
