Did you guys know God's "two witnesses" that will appear in Jerusalem have a part in manifesting the plagues of the Vials upon the beast during the tribulation time?

Rev 11:3-6
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
KJV

Here's the connection in Rev.16 with the Vials being about "plagues":

Rev 16:9
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, Which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.
KJV

That 1260 days is the latter half of Daniel's symbolic "one week" of Dan.9:27. Right at the end of those 1260 days, this will happen to them, and the world will rejoice at their demise for three and one half days because of how God's two witnesses tormented them:

Rev 11:7-10
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
KJV

The commission of God's "two witnesses" will be very similar to the commissions of Moses and Aaron in the days of Israel's captivity to Egypt with God forcing the hand of Pharaoh to let His people go; in that God worked very similar plagues upon Egypt.

In the example of Moses and Aaron, God did not not allow them to be harmed. That is one difference with this example of God's "two witnesses" for the end in our near future, as they will be killed by the beast king that ascends up out of the bottomless pit. By that the wicked and deceived will think they have finally triumphed, which is why they will rejoice over their deaths and "make merry", sending gifts to one another.

During that tribulation time, only the first 6 Vials (which are plagues per Rev.16:9) are involved by God's two witnesses. The final 7th Vial will still be yet to come at that point right after their deaths. That means God's "two witnesses" are not involved with manifesting the final 7th Vial plague.

The next event after the three and one half days ends the 6th Trumpet - 2nd Woe period, with God's two witnesses being resurrected to the shock of all who see it. In that same hour, the great earthquake in Jerusalem happens (Rev.11:11-14).

Rev.11 does not specifically declare the event of God's cup of wrath poured out with the final 7th Vial, but it does describe it in passing very briefly in the Rev.11:18 verse:

Rev 11:14-18
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Which art, and wast, and art to come; because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
KJV

And that pouring out of God's cup of wrath with that 7th Vial on the final day of this world is a plague also:

Zech 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
KJV

That "plague" is the event of "sudden destruction" that Apostle Paul spoke of in 1 Thessalonians 5 that will occur upon those who will be saying, "Peace and safety" at the end on the "day of the Lord". This is how those events of Rev.11 perfectly align with what God's OT prophets and Christ's Apostles taught about the last days of the end of this world.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

The two witnesses are sent to Israel to turn their hearts to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah, and only go against the people that would try to stop them from witnessing, because they are preaching that Jesus is the Messiah, and are contrary to the agenda of the beast.

This is not part of the vials of the wrath of God,for God goes against all people that took the mark of the beast, and followed the man of sin,but the two witneses only go against those that go against them.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

The wrath of God does not get poured out until the 7 years period is over, because the Bible says the beast has power to continue for the last half of the 7 years period, which means God is giving him power to rule, and will not go against him until the end of the last three and one half years that he rules.

God is giving the world 7 years to have their way,and cause all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom,in which they make war against the saints, and shall destroy the holy amd mighty people, and when they shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, then all things are finished,so God will not go against them until the 7 years period is over.

The two witnesses only go against those that go against them, but the vials are upon the world that took the mark of the beast.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

After the tribulation then the saints are resurrected, and the wrath of God will not be poured upon the world until the 7 years are over, and the saints are resurrected.

Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

It is not the two witnesses that have the 7 vials of the wrath of God,but it is 7 angels, and it occurs after the 7 years period, for that is when God will punish them, and not before, for God is allowing them to have their way for 7 years.

God is allowing the 2 witnesses to go against anyone that goes against them, because God is bringing the Jews to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah, and does not want that to be hindered, but it is not the wrath of God upon the world.

Revelation 14:19
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Revelation 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Isaiah 63:3
I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

..The Plagues of God's Wrath For The End...
Actually the 7 Vials of God's wrath (Rev 15 & 16) being poured out upon the wicked towards the end of the Great Tribulation is God's answer to the cries and demands of the saints who have been martyred earlier on in the Great Tribulation as viewed in the 5th Seal. Rev 6v9-11...

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. (Romans 1:18 ESV).

This is not part of the vials of the wrath of God,for God goes against all people that took the mark of the beast, and followed the man of sin,but the two witneses only go against those that go against them.
It IS ... about the VIALS of Rev.16. What I showed in my OP is not the only Bible evidence either:

Rev 16:15-17
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done."
KJV

That is our Lord Jesus speaking on the 6th Vial to His Church, warning them on earth that He comes "as a thief", which is the time when Apostles Paul and Peter linked to the "sudden destruction" on the final day called the "day of the Lord". That aligns with the time of His coming to gather His Church per Mark 13:24-27 and 1 Cor.15 and 2 Thess.2. THAT final 7th VIAL is the particular cup of God's Wrath that Paul was saying in 1 Thess.5 we are not appointed to (see Zeph.3:8 also).

Not correct. You're failing to understand that Vials 1-6 involve "plagues" upon the beast in relation to the working of God through His two witnesses against the beast, but that the FINAL 7th Vial is solely by God's Hand Himself.

You're also failing to even recognize... our Lord Jesus' warning there in Rev.16:15 to His Church on earth, revealing even by the 6th Vial the rapture still has not yet occurred. That's not a warning to pre-trib's idea of left-behind "tribulation saints" either.

You're also failing to recognize our Lord Jesus only gave His disciples 7 main signs of the end in His Olivet Discourse, the last one being that of His coming to gather His Church.

Those 7 signs He gave are the Seals, Trumpets, and Vials. This is why the events of the 7th Trumpet and 6th Seal align with the events of the final 7th Vial.

That's where you are wrong, for the Vials accompany the events of the Seals and Trumpets for the latter 1260 days of Daniel's symbolic "one week". Again, that's why our Lord Jesus is STILL warning His Church that He's getting ready to come on the 7th Vial with the battle of Armageddon, which is also the time of the "day of the Lord", i.e., the very LAST day of this present world. Jesus returns to gather His Church only ONE TIME, and it's "as a thief in the night" on the "day of the Lord."

The two witnesses only go against those that go against them, but the vials are upon the world that took the mark of the beast.
You haven't recognized this verse, which is not about the fire out of their mouths upon those who would attack them:

Rev 11:6
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
KJV

The commission of God's two witnesses is also to be similar to Elijah's; see 2 Kings 1 about the fire burning the fifty up that tried to seize Elijah. But the power of those "plagues" models the commission of Moses and Aaron in Egypt.

Yes, the Matt.24:29-31 and Mark 13:24-27 Scriptures are specifically about the event of Jesus gathering His Church like Paul showed in 1 Thess.4 and 1 Cor.15. That is "day of the Lord" timing, the FINAL DAY of this world. His coming to gather His Church, the cup of wrath upon the wicked, and God's consuming fire burning man's works off the earth all... occur on that SAME DAY, which of course ends the trib also with Jesus destroying the "man of sin" with the brightness of His coming per 2 Thess.2:8.

I showed how your point about God's two witnesses only retaliating IF they are attacked is completely weak in light of the Rev.11:6 Scripture as to the power God will give them in that 1260 days of the tribulation. About the angels, see Daniel 10 of how there is a Heavenly pattern by angels working events on earth behind men. Even Jesus showed us that with the angels of the seven Churches in His Revelation, but that's really another subject.

That's exactly correct, because those Rev.14 & 19 events are about God's cup of wrath poured out upon the nations on the FINAL DAY of this world when our Lord Jesus comes. God's two witnesses will by then already have been killed, and been resurrected immediately PRIOR to that cup of wrath event. God ALONE pours out that cup of wrath on that final "day of the Lord". I covered that point in my OP that His two witnesses are not involved in that final 7th Vial of His cup of wrath.

What many are confused about is the many Bible Scriptures about the final day, the "day of the Lord" which is when God pours out His cup of fierce anger upon the wicked, IS NOT Vials 1-6. It is ONLY the final 7th Vial on the last day.

Then you are not heeding the Rev.11 Scripture which reveals God's two witnesses involvement with the "plagues" upon the beast during their 1260 days commission. They are not involved with the final 7th VIAL on the last day.

You can't expect to understand that time with leaving out important relevant Scripture:

Rev 11:9-10
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
KJV

God's two witnesses are not coming to just speak, but they will torment the wicked on earth in that time, just as God's plagues in Egypt tormented the pagan Egyptians while God's people were under His passover protection at the same time. For this Rev.11 event, Jesus Christ is now our Passover Lamb sacrificed for us. We have no need to worry about those plagues by God's two witnesses, nor the cup of God's wrath poured out upon the wicked on the final day with the 7th Vial.

Yes, and it's going to start during... the tribulation through God's two witnesses with their tormenting the wicked on earth:

Rev 11:9-10
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
KJV

That is why... the wicked and deceived will rejoice after the two witnesses are killed, even sending each other gifts and making merry for the three and one half days. Then the final 7th Vial is poured out upon them which ends the trib and ushers Christ's coming to gather His Church and start the first day of His "thousand years" reign over the nations.

You guys do realize don't you, that the tribulation is still going on all the way up to the 7th Vial of Rev.16?

Rev 16:15-21
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

The following Scripture is the point in time of God's cup of wrath poured out upon the wicked on the final day of this world. This is when our Lord Jesus comes to gather us, and God's consuming fire burns up man's works on the earth, and destroys the "man of sin", ending the tribulation. This is "day of the Lord" timing:

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
KJV

One can read more about the destruction of the wicked on that day by God's Hand in Ezekiel 38 & 39, for that is what that firestorm of great hail out of heaven with each stone weighing a talent (70-100 lbs.) will do in destroying Satan's northern armies out of the northern quarters that come upon Israel on the last day. That is what God's cup of wrath on that day will especially do upon the armies surrounding Jerusalem per the Luke 21 example. That's when the saints in the middle east are to look up, for their redemption draws near ("nigh" per Luke 21). That is the day of God's vengeance per the OT prophets, like Isaiah 61:2 (repeated in Luke 21 by Christ in His Olivet Discourse).

In Ezekiel 39, God reveals it will be this FINAL event of His destruction of those northern armies by His Hand only... that will even wake up many of His people from their spiritual stupor, to KNOW that HE is The GOD and there is none other God. Think about it. If God gave us power to defeat those in the final day, His enemies would not know... that is directly from God's Hand Himself upon them. When that event happens on the final day, His enemies will KNOW that is from Him only, and that HE is The GOD and there is no other God.
