Beautiful or dangerous flower?
Lol
He has come to Holland a few times to kickstart people because one Dutch guy saw his youtube videos and invited him. Since then there's a growing group of people here that evangelize on the street and heal the sick and people get saved.

It's about believers becoming disciples and getting the harvest in. He preaches holiness.

What I don't like about this person already is that I can't find an encapsulation of what he teaches.

It's strange that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ isn't evident on the homepage.... except mentioned briefly at the very bottom in small letters. That's odd, isn't it?

I would say if people come to Jesus Christ thru this and are made new in Him and Christ gets all the glory and not a man or a school, then praise God!

I think that may just be a characteristic of his internet presentation format, i.e., video-only.

Have you seen the movie? I'm impressed. When I got saved after 2 years I got baptized, filled with the Spirit, then years later some demons got kicked out and decades later I am learning how to walk in the Spirit. In my life I brought 4 kids to the Lord, 3 my own and dad helped too. I've prayed a few times at home for sick collegues years ago. I don't evangelize or make disciples.
I think it's very inspiring and everyone can learn something from it.

Good. This may be shocking to you, but The Last Reformation isn't about you. It is not designed to impress you. And most of the people involved don't know you or care at all about whether you are impressed. It isn't about you. So if you want to sit around like a bump on a log not being impressed, that's entirely up to you.

There are few things more sad than a church or pastor hamstrung by their fear of people who sit around refusing to be impressed. I would rather have a one Christian who makes disciples than a thousand bumps on a log full of denominational arrogance but who cannot heal, save, baptize, or disciple a single person in 40 years.

Too often the best of these people are considered saints if they can get one or two to rattle off a sinner's prayer and live for the devil. Or betray God while chanting, "Judge not". The only one I care about impressing is God Himself.

Jesus commanded the disciples to heal, to cast out demons, to make disciples baptizing them in water and in the Holy Spirit and He later called 70 more disciples to reach out to the gentiles in Luke 10. And Jesus commanded them to teach their disciples to do what Jesus taught them to do. He did not tell them to stop doing these things after the resurrection. In fact, much of it started on Pentecost after the resurrection. Jesus did not tell them to stop with the last apostle died. He commanded them to teach their disciples to do the same thing which was to make disciples and teach them to heal, cast out demons, baptize, etc., and make disciples again. It was to be continued.

What doesn't impress me is the way people make up denominational garbage and then treat it as though it were somehow superior to God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. What doesn't impress me is that men often have more faith in men than they do in God. What doesn't impress me is that Jesus says "Go" and man makes excuses and puts on a phony look of superior wisdom when the Bible says he who wins souls is wise.

There are people in The Last Reformation who make more disciples in the first month after being saved than make bumps on a log do in a denominational church in 40 years. That impresses me. And what impresses me is that nobody has to wait around for some famous person to come and lay hands on them before they can go out and heal someone or lead them to Christ.

Another thing impresses me. Have you ever seen an atheist encounter a miracle on the streets before their own eyes? A healing? A deliverance from demons? How many Muslims can argue theology with you until your blue in the face and then stop and listen with eyes wide open when someone is healed before their eyes? Have you ever seen an atheist or Muslim come to the Lord and bring their entire family with them? It is quite a step of faith for them as it could mean being ostracized by family and friends.

Now maybe you're not impressed with that, but it's not about you and it isn't about impressing you. It is about trusting in Christ and doing what Christ said in love and faithfulness without any regard for the acceptance or approval of man. It is about trusting in God's Word and not in the denominational notions made up by men.

You don't need to be impressed. It really doesn't matter.

People who are not used to seeing these things usually get mad and call it fake, I know people who go around doing what Torben does and it is real.

It won't be since you took such an old post and he's not around anymore.

Thanks
Many of my friends and I have been experiencing doing that, too, and it has been pretty much life-changing.
