Should Christians Love Each Other?​


I was reading 1 John last night, and basically he says, and I'm paraphrasing here:

How can a Christian love their 'unseen' God when some can't even love each other.

That was the message in a nutshell. If we can all 'see' each other, fellow Christians, and still hold hate towards some Christian, how can we possibly truly love God who isn't "seen"?

I've been personally trying to better myself by walking with Jesus. Some days I may do alright, while others I fall on my face and do miserably. When I do stumble, which happens often, I pray to Jesus to do his work in me and continue to cleanse me. I found that when I was trying to do it by"myself", I'd actually do worse than before! But when I surrender it all to Jesus, He is the one who cleanses me. I give all my praise to Jesus for cleansing me on a daily basis.

When I disagree with a fellow Christian, I realize this may happen. But the bottom line is that God chose all of us to be his children because we trust in his son Jesus Christ.

Isn't Christian fellowship a joyful blessing!

God bless every one of you abundantly and I love you all, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

hello friend, I have to say, me to, for me, when I am on my way to work I pray, listen to my favorite christian songs, I get there and feel really good, but as the day goes by, co-workers start getting on my nerves, I find myself getting annoyed,I have to pay close attention to my feelings and remind myself that we are sopose to love one another, I am so thankful for God who understands that we are not perfect but loves us anyway, do all things with love....

ooo, that's my favorite scripture. man, yeah, i don't know where it's located.
but yeah, it hit a hard spot. because i hate my dad....and when i read and found out this scripture, i started trying to forgive my dad.

it's hard and stuff, but yeah lol

and yeah, i think we should love each other. but not like...idk.
because personally, i don't love people that i don't know. but i think it's more like "i respect you" and stuff.

Of course we should love each other personal differances aside , personal beliefs aside, if we are claiming to love and serve the very same God, then we should love one another, all one has to do is take a look at some of these threads, and see the diff posts, and it makes you wonder if ppl love each other or not.
