We must all appear before The judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body according to what he has done. -2 Corinthians 5:10 Imagine Going to work one day and being greeted by your boss who says, "Come by my office at 9:30 I'd like to talk to you about how you're doing on the job''. This could be a nervous time for you as you think about what your supervisor might say. You wonder How does my boss think I've been doing ? Could there be a pay increase? Am I going to hear ''Well done" or ''You're done"? As important as this kind of meeting is, the Bible speaks of another ,far more significant review. After this life is past, we must all stand before our Lord. Paul wrote, ''For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done whether good or bad'' (2 Cor.5:10). We will not enter that future evaluation fearful of losing our salvation, nor will we desire personal benefit or human approval. Instead we will be eager to hear the Master say, ''Well done good and faithful servant'' (Matt 25:21). The challenge before us as followers of Christ is to serve him with excellence now so that we can hear his words, ''Well done'' Then Based on the way I am living today, what kind of review will I get when I see the Savior? - Bill Crowder

There will be one book he looks in to see if our name is in it. On whether we go to heaven or hell. And another book to see all of our fruit we did on earth. How he will reward us for the kindnesses we did for others, how many souls we brought to him, etc.

9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire(1 Corinthians 3:9-15).

This thread is 10 years old and the OP has quit the site and several of those that did respond have long been banned. Glad to have you onboard with us though. Welcome to CC.

Why did you dig up a TEN YEAR OLD thread with an OP and posters who were banned?

Just so you could make a comment about heretics. :rolleyes:

IF Mr. Crowder is speaking only of the children of God who have "endured unto the end," then, yes.

However, not "all" will hear Christ say "well done."

(just saying)

However, not "all" will hear Christ say "well done."
Should we not be able to hear Him now if He is telling us well done or not. This is a choice if we want to pray and ask for guidance to live a life well pleasing to God. The Holy Spirit is ready to guide us and lead us in the way we are to go. God gives us the desires of our heart and that should be our desire to live a life well pleasing to God.
