I would be somewhat Baptist but go toward fundamental bible and I go for pre-trib with some although little allowance for a mid trib. Post-trib is rather foolish and no trib is really foolish.

Tribulation is determined upon the earth and not on the church. Tribulation is Gods judgment upon apostate Israel. God is going to boil them down and cause them to cry out for Him through their anguish. Not unlike when they were in bondage in Egypt.

Also, there is the option to create a real poll, which users can click to select their answer. And you can make it public to see who clicked what.

It did appear at first to be a real poll with the pole button header.

I did it from my phone and maybe that had some bearing on the outcome of the format?

Rapture?

Do you believe in it?

Postrib rapture?

BTW,I am pretrib, and also believe he comes back to earth once.

In the 10 virgin parable, the groom never goes to the brides house.

That is why we,as pretrib s say there is one return.

...even a gentle nudge is a challenge for you huh?

Your thread is titled "BAPTIST BIBLE POLL ON RAPTURE". If you want to argue rapture doctrine, which I know you do, there is already a thread for that or create a new one. We've voted. You're welcome.

My position is still under review but I have read some very convincing Bible based arguments for a post trib rapture recently.

The pretrib rapture may be totally irrelevant for many alive today. It would be very difficult to prove Biblically that the American church won’t face severe persecution prior to any “rapture.” The Early Church faced severe persecution before the rapture. The Chinese church faced severe persecution before the rapture (I could go on and on). To suggest the American won’t is sheer nonsense.

Instead of preparing people to be raptured out of here it would be far better to encourage believers to shore up their faith and prepare to share their faith through adversity—even to the point of martyrdom. For all my Christian life I’ve heard calls for a revival. One of the greatest revivals happened mostly due to believers who were willing to die for their faith. Tertullian wrote that, “the blood of the martyr’s is the seed of the church.” Is the American church ready for that type of commitment?

Do not underestimate the fierce wrath of God that will be poured out on the earth during the tribulation. Yes the church now is being persecuted and buffeted for Christ but it is nothing in comparison to what lies ahead for Israel.

There will be death and destruction on a scale never seen before on the face of the earth. It will be so bad that people will cry out to God to cause the mountains to fall on them and cover them up to escape it. Even in all this they will not repent but will rebel against God and Israel will be the target of their anger.

It simply causes me to marvel that some would feign piety to claim they will endure all this and simply float through it without so much as a care in the world. Despite all the dreams of heroic faith God is going to preserve the church by removing it from this demonstration of His disgust with the sinfulness of mankind. As it was in the days of Noah so it will be when these things are brought about. God preserved Noah in the ark and He will preserve the church through the rapture.

No sir, thank YOU for your blatant and obvious trap laying. I do wish you the best of luck in your fishing expeditions to catch members here so you have ample opportunity to demonstrate to them how WRONG they are and how RIGHT you are. Now, I won't keep you any longer, so please enjoy your evening.

Bless your heart.
