Can a believer be demon possessed? Can a non-believer be demon possessed? Can a believer or nonbeliever have a demon in them? How do you cast out demons?

No. The users who don't know will tell you that a Christian can be posessed.

posession has something to do with ownership. Can a true christian be truly posessed..no but they can be demonised. theres christian addicts and all so a christian can have demons but a true christian will not be posessed. Anyone can have demons/spirits. Of course a non believer can be posessed (its just very rare for a person to be truly posessed). You cast em out by telling them to go in Jesus name. Jesus taught us how to deal with them.

John 13:27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

Matthew 9:32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.

Matthew 12:22 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.

Luke 22:53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.”

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Romans 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.

1 Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

Impregnated? As in some kinda "cloning" process, as a "scorpion" slowly injects venom into its prey, as it has no stomach, and slowly dissolves its "victim" inside the victims own body, before ingesting? Yes! Does this happen on levels more then "fleshly"? Yes! Could this be misconstrued, by one of a lesser faith as possession? I suppose it could. Yes! Could the "victim" be so ingested, as to having such a hard time in finding the identity of the victim itself? Yes!.....But, that which I described above is that which you are seeing. Can this whole process be reversed? Of course, it can!! With God?......ALL THINGS, are possible!! Depends on one's wanting to, hard enough. Can one cast out demons on their own? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!.....by default.

Jesus says, "It is finished." He has overcome every evil in this world He has created. Everything is under His dominion now. He is Lord of all!

The only battle we have yet to fight is our doubting Him. We overcome that doubt and fear by learning to trust Father God and believing that He loves us and is always taking care of our every need.

I recommend that you read His Word of promise aloud until it takes root in your heart and blossoms into reality in your mind. Listen to beautiful praise and worship songs that lift Him up in your heart and spiritually strengthen you. You are His child and nothing can separate you from God or pluck you out of His hand. The Lord is faithful! He will never change.

Well said AuntieAnt! The battle is in the mind. We need to have our minds renewed to all that Christ has already done for us! Stand therefore in the whole armor of God. Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Fight the good fight of faith! Christ is our victory now.....:)

Here is the thing. To say a believer can be demon possessed is to say that a demon can co-habitate with the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Spirit IS God. The Holy Spirit is faaaaaaaar more powerful than a demon.. even Satan.

So.. the Holy INDWELLS a person He has saved. The Holy Spirit will actually be physically in a person's soul, sealing them unto the day of redemption so they go to heaven when they die.

Of course a demon can AFFECT a believer.. because every believer still has a fallen nature. They can still sin, be tempted etc.. but that is not possession.

The Holy Spirit will protect and shield a believer.. and there is no way any demon or Satan can inwell a believer with the Holy Spirit there.

It's like saying an ant can co-habitat with a mega size ant eater! :) The demon being the ANT. :)

not to dicker...but I believe, the Holy Spirit resides in our spirit

many believe that demons can indeed indwell a believer...but not in their spirit and a believer can be oppressed..

the Bible does not say anywhere that if the Holy Spirit is present, a demon cannot be present. IMO, if that were so, then no one would ever be able to be set free from a demon...because they will only leave with God's power through His Spirit

It depends on whom is the one that is listening to whom.

Luke 22:31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.

Luke 8:13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

No.

Why do you ask the question if you already believe you know the answer?

Demon oppressed and very heavily influenced, but not actually possessed. A believer belongs to Christ, and He ain't goin' fer any o' that stuff.

I see you are only 13...this can be a very deep subject...but it is in the Bible

Jesus told us not to fear and not to let our hearts be troubled

When we call on His Name, He hears us and He delivers us from all these things and fears

He knows each and every one of us and we just need to remember that Jesus has already won the war!
