Have you considered, at a moment that you're feeling worthless, Jesus died for you? If you ever feel like you're nothing, a no one... just a waste of space and nothing more consider that Jesus Christ died for you. Isn't that something? Someone thought that you were worth dying for.

You look in the mirror and hate what you see? Jesus died for you. You feel inadequate? Jesus died for you. To think He died and resurrected so that you could be reconciled to God. His heart beats for you. You are, in God's eyes, worth the blood of Christ, the Son of God fully divine. He gave His life for little ol' you.

If you ever happen to be in a dark moment in thought, where self-reflection is torture, do consider that Jesus loves you and He died for you. You are worth something. You are worth dying for. Better yet, you are worth living for, as Jesus has resurrected on your behalf so that you can spend time with the Lord. Feeling lonely? Seek Him, He is interested in you. More than that, you're the apple of His eye.

Even more AWESOME, is when you meditate on the fact that the ONLY GOD THERE IS, chose us as HIS adopted Children:

John 1:12-13 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
[SUP]13 [/SUP] who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Romans 8:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"

John 15:16-17 (NASB)

[SUP]16 [/SUP] "You did not choose Me but
I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] "This I command you, that you love one another.

Galatians 4:5-7 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

Ephesians 1:5-6 (NASB)

[SUP]5 [/SUP] He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
[SUP]6 [/SUP] to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Romans 5:8 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

OH MY, we did not earn any part of becoming HIS CHILDREN, HE CHOSE US BEFORE WE EXISTED.

Good post Ben. The enemy of our souls messed with Adam and Eve, he continues to do the same with the rest of the human race. "Does God reeeeaallly care enough to love you and give you good or do you think He is holding back from you?"

But God has given us all things pertaining to and for life and godliness. He has given us all that we need but we sometimes allow the enemy to weave a lie in our hearts that seems so real it starves out the water we need for our thirst.

But when we know we are loved by God unconditionally and that in fact He is the ONE who made us with this need, we could do just about anything. We were created for His pleasure and for Him to actually "lavish" His love on us. Col. 1:6, Luke 12:32

[TD="width: 100%, align: left"] [SUP]6 [/SUP]for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

[TD="colspan: 3"]So unlike us., He loves us at our best and at our ugliest worst. Nothing., not even our ugliest worst can separate us from His love. Rom.8:34-39

[SUP]35-36 [/SUP]Can anything separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, pain or persecution? Can lack of clothes and food, danger to life and limb, the threat of force of arms? Indeed some of us know the truth of the ancient text: ‘For your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter’.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]No, in all these things we win an overwhelming victory through him who has proved his love for us.
[SUP]38-39 [/SUP]I have become absolutely convinced that neither death nor life, neither messenger of Heaven nor monarch of earth, neither what happens today nor what may happen tomorrow, neither a power from on high nor a power from below, nor anything else in God’s whole world has any power to separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord! Phillips NT

Without a revelation of His love, many Christians are struggling. Stressed and tired.,worries and fears about health and families and the future. Drained of hope and without confidence or strength to even want to live here on earth.

But when that personal realization comes in and we experience this constant unchanging love He wants us to believe He has right now for us, everything changes with this different perspective. I guess that is why they call it a "revelation"

1 John 1:18 says perfect love casts out fear. So God means His love is the medication that gets rid of our fears. It's not courage or even faith but it's that perfect love He has that can give us faith and peace and a life of possibilities. It's not our love for Him but His love for us.

It is all so clear now that God wants to love and care for us but the enemy wants us to doubt and fear God's goodness and love. The Bible says that faith works THROUGH love. God's perfect love as it's related to us. (we love Him because He first loved us)

[SUP]
2-6 [/SUP]Listen! I, Paul, say this to you as solemnly as I can: if you consent to be circumcised then Christ will be of no use to you at all. I will say it again: every man who consents to be circumcised is bound to obey all the rest of the Law! If you try to be justified by the Law you automatically cut yourself off from the power of Christ, you put yourself outside the range of his grace. For it is by faith that we await in his Spirit the righteousness we hope to see. In Jesus Christ there is no validity in either circumcision or uncircumcision; it is a matter of faith, faith which expresses itself in love. Phillips NT

(it is a matter of faith, faith which expresses itself in love)

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love. NASB

His perfect love that will drive out fear. Can't have the faith till we know the perfect love He has in and for us. This comes through revelation.
