3. If there is sin during the 1000yr reign,

Will people be saved by faith? Why would they need faith if Jesus is "reigning" in Jerusalem?
How will people be saved during the 1000 year reign?

WILL WE SEE THE FACE OF JESUS IN HIS GLORY? WILL THE WORLD SEE HIS FACE?
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Revelation 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Those two verses should answer number 2 and 3 for you. There will be no sin/death during the 1000 year reign until Satan will be loosed so he can go out and deceive the nations after its completion. Every person has been or will be tested, or like you said there would be no reason for faith or belief because there is only one option. Before God judges anybody in the bible from Adam and Eve to people in the 1000 year reign they have always been tested and given an option to choose the Lord or satan. Then the great battle will occur which the Lord will be victorious and death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire.

The Lord Jesus Christ will be ruling in Jerusalem from the throne of David physically. Also if you are a gentile like myself and saved we will meet the Lord in the air before his 1000 year reign

I believe so although I do not have the scripture to back that up right now. The Lord will physically set his feet on earth at his second coming, and will physically and bodily rule from the throne of David.

Even you say that the iron is Rome, (Yes?), How can you say it is Rome, and then say that it represents ALL governments?

Yes, you are correct, the major ruling kingdoms/governments were babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. The feet of iron and partly baked clay is that future ten-toed kingdom, which will be the last kingdom ruled by the beast. That kingdom hasn't been established under the beast yet and neither has the beast been revealed. The reference to the statute being smashed to pieces like chaff on a threshing floor, blown away by the wind and never to be found again, is referring to the end of human government. The Rock filling the whole earth immediately after that happens is referring to Christ's millennial kingdom which will be established immediately after he has dismantled all human government, which will be accomplished via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments.

The legs of iron represent Rome when it was in its full power as a kingdom. The feet of iron and partly baked clay is an extension of that kingdom that reforms in the future, but will have a mixture of people (baked clay), which is why it will not have the power like it did when it was pure iron.

2. How can I say this? The stone is going to strike the statue, All human governments end because there is no more planet earth.

NO! The earth does not cease to exist after the Rock strikes the feet of the statue! For immediately after the governments have been dismantled, Jesus returns the earth to end the age and establishes His millennial kingdom. Therefore, there is a thousand years of Christs rule on this earth before and then this present heaven and earth depart and God creates the new heaven and new earth.

If it were the 1000yr reign (symbolic), it would show the revolt of Magog, but it doesn't. so can you explain why it does not show it?

Rev.4 thru 18 - The wrath of God is poured out during that last seven years

Rev.19:11-21 - Christ returns to the earth to end the age and establish his millennial kingdom

Rev.20:1-3 - Satan is seized and thrown into the Abyss and restricted there during the thousand years

In between the verse above and the verse below is the thousand year reign of Christ

Rev.20:7 - The thousand years are ended and Satan is released from the Abyss and rebels one last time

Rev.20:10 - After Satan's rebellion is foiled, he is then thrown into the lake of fire

Rev.20:1-15 - The great white throne judgment takes place of the unrighteous dead

Rev.21 & 22 - New heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem

Eternity .............................................................................................................

The event of Gog and Magog takes place at the end of the thousand years and therefore, there must be a thousand years from the time that Christ returns to the earth to end the age until after a thousand years have passed, at which time Satan will be released. The chronological order of this is very clear in scripture as can be seen from the following:

1). Christ returns from heaven to end the age and establish his millennial kingdom:

"Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13He is clothed in a robe dipped in[SUP]d[/SUP] blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.15From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."

2). Satan is seized and thrown into the Abyss for a thousand years:

"
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit[SUP]a[/SUP] and a great chain. 2And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3
and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

==== The Thousand year reign of Christ ===

3). End of the thousand years:

"And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven[SUP]b[/SUP] and consumed them,"

4). Satan thrown into the lake of fire:

"
and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

5). The Great White Throne Judgment:

"Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

6). New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem:

"
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place[SUP]a[/SUP] of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[SUP]b[/SUP] and God himself will be with them as their God.[SUP]c[/SUP]4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Do you understand the order of these events now?

Brother Ahwatukee,

1. How can you say, that it the end of all human government, when the nations of Magog rebel? Dan 2, fills the earth.
Obviously, they are plentiful in number, and powerful enough to surround Jerusalem with Jesus there.
Aren't you contradicting yourself? Isn't Magog human government? If it ends, how can it be?

2. When Jesus reigns in Jerusalem, does the world see His face? Do we see His face?

3. You know who the beast is, Rome, Caesar is the Antichrist, why do you think this is not revealed?

John, during the thousand years, Christ's kingdom will exist. Human government will not be ruling. Gog and Magog will be those inhabitants who will have populated the earth during the millennial period. When Satan is released from the Abyss at the end of thousand years, then those people referred to as Gog and Magog will be deceived by Satan and will turn against God. To be clear, there will be people from every nation, tribe, language and people, but they will not be ruling as nations. For the entire earth will be under Christ's rule.

2. When Jesus reigns in Jerusalem, does the world see His face? Do we see His face?

Yes, Jesus will physically be on earth ruling in Jerusalem on the throne of king David according to Scripture.

3. You know who the beast is, Rome, Caesar is the Antichrist, why do you think this is not revealed?

The beast is currently still in the Abyss and will not be released until the 5th trumpet has been sounded. So far, no one in history fits the characteristics of the beast/antichrist. He will reveal himself when he makes that seven year covenant with Israel and 3 1/2 years after that, he will set up the abomination in the holy place, which causes the desolation of Jerusalem/Judea. The emergence of the antichrist is directly related to the return of the Lord to end the age and therefore, he could not have previously come at any time in history.

3.The beast is Rome, you know that! Why are you in denial? The beast that crawls out of the pit is Rome!
The dragon that comes out of the B. pit in Rev 20 has seven heads and ten horns, Rev 12:3. Rome!
Iron legs in Dan 2, Rome.
Roman sea beast government, 1929.
You must realize that what you are looking for, already happened in the past. Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome in 70 ad.
In order for what you are expecting to happen, Rome will have to "reconquer" Israel and Jerusalem, Rome can't do it! They have no army!

For now, I'm just dealing with these few issues.

Hello John,

1. Then it is not an end to all human government.

It is the end of human governments rule. During the millennium Christ will rule and all people will be subject to him.

2. In the 1000yr reign, do we see His face, does the world see His face?

Please see previous post

3.The beast is Rome, you know that! Why are you in denial? The beast that crawls out of the pit is Rome!

Now John, please use some common sense here. How can Rome crawl out of the Abyss, which is a literal place beneath the earth where demons are restricted? A literal fallen angel called Abaddon in the Hebrew and Apollyon in the Greek, both meaning "Destroyer currently resides in the Abyss." He is the one who kills the two witnesses and the one who is thrown alive into the lake of fire along with the false prophet. If you will do a study on the Abyss, you will see that Rome cannot be crawling out of it. The Abyss is also the place where Satan will be bound after Christ returns to end the age. It is also the place where those demons collectively called "Legion" begged Jesus not to send them into. The beast is a literal fallen angel which will come up out of the Abyss.

You must realize that what you are looking for, already happened in the past. Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome in 70 ad. In order for what you are expecting to happen, Rome will have to "reconquer" Israel and Jerusalem, Rome can't do it! They have no army!

Rome with the power of the beast is going to conquer the entire earth! The beast will be given authority over every, nation, tribe, people and language. He will make war and conquer the great tribulation saints for that last 31/2 years until Jesus returns. Everyone will be required to receive the beasts mark in order to be able to credit and debit their bank accounts. The beast will provide the power that the pope and the RCC have been wanting to regain.

John, with all due respect, you appear to be swayed by every wind of doctrine. What are you reading and who are you listening to? As I have said before, my advice to you is to let go of everything that you have heard and read and read the book of Revelation for yourself. And if you do, read it at face value, applying symbolism and metaphors only where it is obvious. If the literal sense makes good sense, then don't seek any other sense.

Brother Ahwatukee,

1. So it is not the end of all human government, just some human government.

2. Does the world see His face? Do we see His face? Why can't you answer these questions directly, (yes/no)

3. Isn't the Beast the Roman Empire and the RCC? You keep changing your definition, it seems.
It's not the whole planet. The beast, Rome, has ruled Israel for 2000 yrs, until recently, 1948.

I don't know how you can say that I am "swayed" by every "wind" of doctrine, I have written out EXACTLY what I believe.
You think that I am teaching someone else's doctrine, WHERE ARE THEY? WHO ARE THEY? THERE ISN'T ANYBODY!
WHO ELSE IS SAYING WHAT I AM?

Again, I'll limit my comments.

the FOURTH KINGDOM, which, starting from Rome, spread out and concured the others.
‘dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly,’ was the ROMAN EMPIRE (31 b.c. to a.d. 476).”

the royal splendor of ancient Babylon, thus having the head—the strongest part—of the lion.

It had all the massiveness and numerically powerful army of the Persian Empire—
symbolized by the legs, the most powerful part of the bear.

It was the greatest war-making machine the world had ever seen, and it also possessed
the swiftness, the cunning, the cruelty of Alexander’s army, symbolized by the leopard.

“And thus, this fourth beast was unlike any wild beast of the Earth.
It was stronger, greater, more terrible, than any others before it.”

-November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall fell , east west are joined again.
the image of Daniel 2 refers to the two legs of iron being the Roman Empire

Anciently, the Roman Empire was divided into [ two regions ].
Rome was the capital in the west, Constantinople in the east.

The feet of iron and partly baked clay, europe is current devided.

in Daniel 2:44: “… and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it
shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

“All these kingdoms”refers to those four world-ruling kingdoms represented
by the great image. In other words, the kingdoms, or governments,of this world
will be consumed and replaced by the Kingdom of God.

When Christ returns as supreme Ruler, the governments of
this world will cease to exist. They will be replaced by God’s
Kingdom—His government—and administered by His Family!

Brendan Simms is a historian and a professor of history at
Cambridge University. In 2013, he wrote an article in the New
York Times titled “The Ghosts of Europe’s Past.”

“The cheerleaders of the European Union like to think of it as
an entirely new phenomenon, born of the horrors of two world wars,” he
wrote. “But in fact it closely resembles a formation that many
Europeans thought they had long since left to the dustbin of
history: the Holy Roman Empire ….”

Brother prove-all,

1. Post #115, Are you saying that the stone of Dan 2, is Jesus returning and that the 1000 yr reign begins?
Is it the end of all government or just some? Just seeking clarification.

2.These kingdoms shown in Dan 2, ruled Israel, not the whole planet.

These same four world-ruling Gentile kingdoms are described in the second chapter of Daniel.
King Nebuchadnezzar of the Chaldean Empire, who had taken the Jews captive, had a dream,
the meaning of which God revealed to Daniel.

The king saw a great image. Its head was of gold, its breast and arms of silver, its belly
and thighs of brass, its legs of iron and its feet and toes were part iron and part clay.

Finally, a stone, not in men’s hands, but supernaturally, smote the image upon his feet and toes.
It was broken in pieces and was blown away like chaff. Then the stone that smashed it became
a great mountain and filled the whole Earth.

“This,” Daniel says, beginning verse 36, “is the dream;
and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.”

“… Thou art this head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee,
and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth
all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise” (verses 38-40).

-The interpretation of the stone smashing the image at its toes is found in the 44th verse:
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never
be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces
and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”

The Stone is Christ and His world-ruling Kingdom. The interpretation of the stone is given many
places in the Bible. “Jesus Christ of Nazareth … is the stone which was set at nought of you builders,
which is become the head of the corner” (Acts 4:10-11).

And so we see that here are four universal [world-ruling] Gentile kingdoms.
They begin with the Chaldean Empire, which took the Jews captive to Babylon.

-God had promised ancient Israel that if they would keep His commandments, to be His nation,
they would grow into a multitude of nations—or an empire—that would dominate the entire Earth.

But, for disobedience they would have to be taken captive by Gentile nations (Leviticus 26 and
other prophecies). Ancient Israel had been tried through the generations and centuries.

They had disobeyed. Now they had been taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar, who had raised up the
world’s first empire. But as God revealed through Daniel in chapter 2, it was God who had turned
world dominion over to this succession of Gentile empires.

They continue through four great universal kingdoms, and out of the fourth grow 10 succeeding
governments. These carry to the time of the Second Coming of Christ and the setting up of
the Kingdom of God to fill the whole Earth and last forever.
