We don't know. That's why it's called faith.

Mark 11:

27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Before we even get into this, have you read all of the bible? With a open mind? Do you believe it is the word of God?

As long as the Bible is an accurate translation, I believe from historical evidence, the Bible is the word of God.

Okay fair enough, thank you for answering me. Have you read all of it? Do you think there are any accurate translations out there?

I read or listened to most of the Bible. I use a Greek/Hebrew Bible.

I believe it is the original writings that are infallible. The translations, while some are very very close, do have some translational difficulties, e.g., a word in Hebrew or Greek doesn't have an English word to mirror it. Therefore, when something isn't adding up or making sense, we search and we study. Going back to the Hebrew/Greek word to get a full definition is very helpful.

So you read Greek or Hebrew, I think your saying that? God bless you, you have an advantage over those of us who don't.
So if you believe from historical evidence that an accurate translation is the actual word of God, are you asking us how we think we know because you want to compare notes, or widen your horizons, or is it another reason?
Do you believe in any other Gods outside of what the bible has?

If people knew that a certain Bible translation is from the Freemasons they wouldn't be so quick to support a bad translation. I don't want to mention the translation because many people will be very angry their Bible translation is from the Freemasons.

There is only one God.

Nah. Our translations aren't perfect (ancient Hebrew to English, Aramaic to English, Koine Greek to English) it's not a perfect science. There are definitely some translations that are better than others eg. ESV, the NASB, but modern translations are generally as accurate as is possible. The translators return to the original ancient languages to create their translations. That's how it works.

Better to accept, in faith, that God's Holy Spirit can and will reveal truth to us, and, can and will protect us from detrimental lies ... than to start journeying down the slippery slope of doubting the Bible. If we start pulling out the tares ... the wheat inevitably begins to suffer.

Who has the authority to compile a book and then call it the infallible Word of God?

Isa 41:21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
Isa 41:22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
Isa 41:23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
Isa 41:24 Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.
Isa 41:25 I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.
Isa 41:26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.
Isa 41:27 The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
Isa 41:28 For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
Isa 41:29 Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.

God identifies Himself as the one true God,by showing us the end from the beginning, which God showed us the whole history of mankind, which the next kingdom to come,is the world split in to 10 sections, with a leader in each section, and the next king,is the man of sin.

God said no other person,or religion, will be able to do that, and I have read through the Bible, and there is no way that came from human intellect alone.

Why would they have an interest in continuing it on for all those years, and be in harmony with each other, although a lot of them, lived at different time periods, which means a book is written, then a book is written 100 years later to add to it,so why did they have an interest to keep it going, and keep it together, especially when the Jews were led away captive so many times for disobeying God,and in foreign lands.

Also the religions of the world, would seem to want to make their religion appear as if God favors them, and they are top dog on earth, because that is the arrogance of people, but the Jews wrote that God was mad at them, punished them, and there is no difference between the Jew,and the Greek, and God is no respecter of persons, putting the Gentile on the same level as the Jew,in the eyes of God,if they are obedient, and all nations to be favored with God if they desire.

Like Babylon, and Greece, and other kingdoms, that thought they were special on earth, because of their gods, but although the Jews said they were a special people with God,they also added the Gentiles as equal to them if they are with God.

All I have to say to the world, produce your cause.
