Question people usually ask like can God make a rock which he Himself can't move?

If God can do anything, can he kill all the poor?

Answer is simple, God can do anything but He DOES NOT do stupid or illogical or unjust things.

Consider some of the passages of the Bible about poor:

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Galatians 2:10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

So blessed is the poor in spirit that God cannot kill them and Jesus, the anointed must have to preach the gospel to the poor and Paul says we should remember the poor. Gopd can't because I do really agree with your explanation.

If God could create a rock that would be too big to move, that would be an imperfection. God is perfect and can't become imperfect.

God also can't make a square circle. So what?

Atheists spend a lot of mental energy trying to discredit Christianity..sometimes it's comical isn't it ?

I've had people ask me those questions too.

lots of things God can't do.

He can't change in nature, so He doesn't
stop being Holy, cease to exist, lie, break a promise, sin, get tired, be wrong, or learn anything new.

i'm thankful for all He is (and isn't :)).

Actually, there is an answer to that one. God can do nothing outside of his nature. He is "restrained" in himself. (Just that he is so vast and perfect it isn't restrained at all.)

When we think "anything" it is from our perspective. Think from God's perspective. "Anything" would not include lying, cheating or stealing then, would it?

IMO that is why it is said all things are possible with God, then one has to include the possibility that all things are not possible, thus we are not to lean to our understanding but trust in the LORD.

He can't lie, He cannot learn (already knows), He can't MAKE you love Him. (He won't violate free will)
