If we know God and study what he says, they can't deceive us.

So maybe to remind us how much we need to know him.

Or maybe to bring God's word to them.

Have a nice day...

And there was a lot of grumbling concerning [Jesus] among the crowds; some were saying, “He is a good [man],” but others were saying, “No, but he deceives the people.” John 7:12

Maybe He wants us to bring the Gospel to them.

Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.
“But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.
“But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also.
“The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’
“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’
“But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them.
Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn." (Matt 13:24-30)

You may as well ask why does God allow any deception. Or why does God allow satan.

I don't like having them around, but it's a great learning experience. I learn so much from their disobedience.

God indeed allows such people to exist, but Jesus warned us against false prophets and blind leaders.

To show us that religion and self righteousness is the problem and they are the tares. Not some person who said they believe and went on a sin rampage.

That the people who truly "mess" up the Body, are nice, sweet, concentrate on sinning less, know the word, profess jesus,go to church, clean the toilets in the church, feed the poor, and "love" as much as they can muster. And they really are satans children still, acting as servants of light.

How great is their darkness if they think they are in the light?

To show us that religion is THE great enemy of the body. It is satans ace trump. And they emphasis the creature rather than the Creator. They emphasis sin rather than the Son. They antagonize His greater Grace. All under the guise of righteousness.......self righteousness.

It ain't a bunch of people out living in sin that claim to be believers that is the bodies problem. It is a bunch of nice, sweet unbelievers who have their flesh kinda cleaned up and drag in self righteousness to antagonize His greater grace that is the the problem in the body.

And He uses these false prophets to shape, build character and mature those of us who have trusted in Christ ALONE.

For those who may not understand where you are coming from (free grace, i.e., salvation by grace apart from faith), allow me to translate for the audience (if I'm incorrect, please let me know):

Not believing the right way is more evil that a believer disobeying GOD and going on a sin rampage.

The presence of an evil world system provides a choice to man, something to choose Christ against, or not choose Christ against. It also eliminates false believers,

Matthew 13:20-22
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Evil has been used to discipline believers,

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

1 Timothy 1:19-20 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Evil spirits and people may not be up to good, but God can make good of their evil,

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Especially with regard to sincerity, and given we have free will, I don't know how God would sort the "boys from the men" in a faith sense, if the Christian had no opposition, if there wasn't a cost involved. If it were too easy, how many lip service, "fair weather friends" of God would there be, who'd never been tried, unfit for the kingdom? The cross, itself, was a cruel evil, an instrument of torture murder, yet,

Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

In Bible history, and I fear in our world, now, God uses evil nations and leaders to punish the reprobate nation, while God not the author of the evil, it is used to accomplish His pleasure, at the hands of those who care nothing for the pleasure of God. We have examples of wayward Israel being taken captive back when, and, in our times, things like the 2016 election.

I think it's much to God's glory, attests to the triumph of good over evil, that He can take the very schemes of Satan and turn them on their head, for good, despite the whole environment being one of evil. We learn a lot from evil's weaknesses and failures.

Again, you need something to choose against, to have a choice, in the first place,

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Last week while struggling with thoughts about such things., I remembered the dream when I woke up that morning. I remember the question in the dream being asked from my most earnest bothered and guilty thoughts and concerns to a mature believer. "YES I know we are to trust Him BUT WHY are we put in this world and kept in this world with all these issues in the first place??? Why didn't He just zap us home??!!!!"

The answer that came to my heart and not as an answer from the more mature believer because she didn't answer. It was a knowing to my heart given... "I want you to learn to ALWAYS trust My LOVE in everything no matter how impossible it seems."

That satisfied my soul and gave the peace needed.

Satan and his horde do not come to the believer in Christ and say "Sin are you want" because no one for fall for such a lie. Instead they come as "ministers of righteousness".

They want us to live by our own D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness so that we will be not be depending on what Christ has done for us by grace through faith alone for salvation.

This cuts us off from receiving the grace of God in our lives.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[SUP]15 [/SUP] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. ( notice that is "their" works )

This is what satan is really after...this is why he has false teachers in our midst.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

What's a false Christian?
Tare!

BTW, tare looks exactly like the cereal grain, until it's threshing time. And then the only difference is the grain threshes differently. (One is heavier than the other, although I don't remember which is which.) Tare is also poisonous.

So they look and act like everyone else, but they're poison.

1Cor.11:19 No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's approval.

Those with God's approval will be 'cast out of the synagogogue (church)'! John 9:22, and 16:2, Christians thinking they are doing God a favor by excommunicating those that don't march in lock-step with conventional norms but hold to the word of God instead.

Matt. 13:30 tells us that tares and wheat are allowed to grow together. In the end the tares will be bundled together and cast into the lake of fire to perish.

I think part of the reason God allows us to face so much evil and deception is to give us opportunities to grow in our love for Him. Do we love Him enough to work through the evil and deception, or do we give up and, through our actions, say "Lord, I don't love you enough to seek the truth of you in this. I am comfortable where I am at."

That is one of the reasons God allows bad things to happen to us - so we will stop being complacent and get serious with Him again. That is not the only reason, but it has been my experience at times.
