Are we receiving the full gospel message in Christianity? Is the message the complete Gospel? Are we preaching what Jesus Preached and said to preach?

I have been asked these questions and have searched to find if I am. What did Jesus actually preach?
The only thing I can find that Jesus preached was the Kingdom of God also called the Kingdom of Heaven which He also told his Disciples to go out preaching. With that being said what is the Kingdom of God. Is the Gospel only Jesus himself or more?

Magenta,
I have seen the Gospel of John and read it many times. Jesus did not tell the disciples to preach him (although He is the only access we have to the kingdom of God). I do not dispute preaching Jesus but in his own words the Good News (gospel) is the kingdom of God.

The good news (gospel) concerns Jesus Christ. How could it not?
For we are saved through belief on Him, and what He did for us :)

1 Cor 15:
1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

My... my.. my...
How you have just tickled my heart, in such a wonderful way. You have spoken so much truth in such small words.
I have plans of a post that will fully discuss the Kingdom of God, but it will probably follow two or three post I am working on.

In the meantime, you can have a look at these posts. The scriptures are used extensively.:)

I would put forth a rhetorical question ... ask yourself - what does being "IN CHRIST" mean to you?

Mark chapter 16:15 teaches the importance of knowing what the true gospel is: “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.’” This means you have to know what the gospel is in order to be saved, making the true gospel very important.

II Corinthians chapter 11, verse 3: “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted you may well put up with it!” Paul already knew there was a different gospel going around that bore very little resemblance to how it was in the time of Christ.

Jesus Christ predicted that there would be other messages. He called them deceptions. Matthew 24, the Olivet Prophecy, starting in verse 4: “And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many.’”

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16).

Paul speaking----
Acts 20:20---"And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you-------"
Acts 20:27---"For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God"

The Gospel is all Jesus is, said, and His will for all men.
All that is found from Genesis to Revelation.
If we leave anything out, we fail to preach the Gospel.

What Gospel did Jesus preach? What Gospel did he tell the disciples to preach. In no way am I removing Jesus from the Gospel for he is part of the gospel.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Acts 28:31
Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
Here are some other scripture
Matthew 4:17
Matthew 9:35
Matthew 13:11
chapter has many parables on the kingdom
The Acts of the Apostles
Acts 1:3
After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and
spoke about the kingdom of God.
Acts 8:12
But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom
of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 19:8
Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing
persuasively about the kingdom of God.
Acts 28:23
They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. From morning till evening he explained and declared to them the kingdom of God and tried to convince them about Jesus from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.
Acts 28:31
Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ

Again, I'm astounded and suspicious of those who leave out Paul's teachings when trying to explain to us the Gospel.
Please reread Romans chaps 1 thru 3.

The kingdom of heaven/God is the spiritual kingdom that started with the new Testament.

Immanuel God with is etc. Often when someone is seeking Jesus the term is
used that the Kingdom of God is very near to them. When they accept the
salvation bought by Jesus then the kingdom of God has literally come to that person.
They have entered into God's kingdom and have become a citizen of heaven.

The Holy Spirit is their stamped sealed passport. :)

We no longer walk in darkness but have seen a great light.

So speaking about the Kingdom of God and speaking the gospel message are
one and the same thing, it's about spreading the good news and seeing people
come to Christ.

The Kingdom of God is very near if people will just look in the right direction and
accept Jesus as their saviour.

Matthew 1:23 NKJV
[23] "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call
His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Isaiah 9:2 NKJV
[2] The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt
in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.

Matthew 4:16-17 NKJV
[16] The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who
sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned." [17] From that time
Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Philippians 3:20-21 NKJV
[20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the
Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body that
it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which
He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

How could Paul's teachings be left out?? Is he not the one approved by God and entrusted with the Gospel?? (1 Thess 2:4)

Actually Jesus is not the Kingdom he is the King of the Kingdom. True he is the only access to enter the kingdom of God. So did the Gospel message change after Jesus went back to the Farther?

This is not leaving out Paul's teaching to explain the kingdom, ask the scripture in Acts 28 tells us Paul spoke of the kingdom and Jesus. so it seems to me that talking one without the other is not the whole gospel message. Would that be a correct statement?

I thought your question in your OP was 'what is the full Gospel message?'
If you bypass Romans chapters one thru three then you are leaving out the heart of the Gospel.
Maybe you should have asked what is the Kingdom message which Jesus referred to with His disciples.

Mar 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The Gospel of the kingdom,is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for no one enters the kingdom, without Christ, believing in His death, burial, and resurrection, and to put on Christ, acting like Him,and follow peace with all people, with holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord, and doing works of the Spirit,to have faith active in your life.

Jesus said concerning the kingdom of God,that they will not say here it is,or there it is,for behold the kingdom of God is within you,by having the Spirit, for you display the kingdom of God's ways on earth, for it is not a physical dominion, but a spiritual dominion, with the exception of the millennial reign of Christ.

I think you need to think of all the things Jesus preached. It isn't just that he existed. We need to obey his teachings. It is his teachings that lead us where we want to go.
