You have an opinion, but that is all you have. Jesus Christ was born here on earth a physical human. A physical human could not have been born in heaven. Jesus’ mother was not there yet.
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
John 1:1*, ‬3*-‬5

End of story...

Now regarding the OP question, I do but I have many times when I feel as if though I don't, its these times when I have to get my mind back on track. I hope there is a time when I will never have any doubt of this.

Is that true, then Jesus is only God, and not man. Man has to be created. God created Jesus Christ. God was his Father, and Mary his mother. Now if Jesus was not created then he can’t be man.

Jesus was man and was born here on earth, until then there was no Jesus Christ. Because Jesus was born of woman, and had as his Father God, then Jesus is God, and man.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God from the beginning. Jesus is the Word. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He always was and always will be. While on earth He was fully God and fully man.

One can always rely on a thread in BDF to go way off track. Lol
The other day I wrote a lengthy post but lost it and it was to late to
re write it. i cant remember it all now but one thing, we often forget the
work of the Holy Spirit.

It is the Holy Spiri who convicts, who brings us to a point of faith and who
opens our spiritual eyes. We then have a choice to accept or reject that knowledge.

Once born again he is our seal, if we just get saved then have to rely on our own
strength, our own faith, our own knowledge, then we would fail.

But Jesus promised us He would send another the comforter.

I think the reason so many Christians lack assurance is because the work of the
Holy Spirit is not given its right place. Sometimes it can be because of a lack
of knowledge, but I think other times it can be because people are afraid of being
labelled happy clappy hyper spiritual or just plain weird.

Its a a pity that, it's like avoiding all things which taste good in case you put on weight. Lol

I think also that the assurance of knowing you are saved comes with experience and as
we mature in the faith. The more we go through the more you value answers to prayer and
when God speaks etc.

Its to a shame really that this thread cannot be used to encourage each other and helpe each
other to have that assurance. But then I suppose it is in the big debate forum. :)

John 14:16-18 NKJV
[16] And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide
with you forever- [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it
neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will
be in you. [18] I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 NKJV
[20] For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God
through us. [21] Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is
God, [22] who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 NKJV
[1] For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from
God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. [2] For in this we groan,
earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, [3] if indeed,
having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. [4] For we who are in this tent groan,
being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality
may be swallowed up by life.
[5] Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the
Spirit as a guarantee. [6] So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at
home in the body we are absent from the Lord. [7] For we walk by faith, not by sight.
[8] We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be
present with the Lord.

Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV
[13] In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
[14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, to the praise of His glory.

You are mixing apples with oranges Johnlove. Its the body that came from Mary that the Son of God used to walk on this Earth. Its the body that was created, not the Son of God who is Jesus.

Just like you and everyone else. Our Spirits came from God, He created our Spirits. Its our Spirits that inhabit the bodies given to us by our parents.

The body used by Jesus was not always, but Jesus Himself was from the beginning with God creating everything we see.

The Son of God goes by many names. There is the Son of God, then the I AM, and then Jesus.

You seem to have problems separating the Spirit from the body. You have a body and a Spirit. When your body dies you will receive a new body in Heaven. Does that mean you are not you anymore? No.

Like i said you seem to be unable to understand what the Holy Spirit teaches in the Scriptures, or you do know what the Scriptures says but you enjoy deceiving others into believing lies from Satan.

Just a simple observation: If you do not know with great certainty that you will spend eternity with Jesus then know with great certainty that you will have a place in the lake of fire that burns for all eternity.

It is very important that the Jesus you know is the Jesus of the bible. Jesus who is God incarnate. Jesus who lived without sin being virgin born, was crucified and died for our sins, and Jesus whom God the Father raised from the dead in a bodily resurrection, Jesus then ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father in heaven.

There is a school of thought out there that teaches that these things do not matter, that they are not important to knowing Jesus and being saved. The whole of scripture argues against this thinking.

If you do not know you are saved then whom are you knowing? The biblical Jesus or one of man's creation.

For the cause of Christ

What is very important about this subject is that Jesus Christ the man is relaying the Words from his Father in Heaven. Jesus Christ the man had a Father. God/Jesus did not have a father.
It is Jesus the man relaying God’s Words that we are to obey. We are not obeying the words of the Old Testament prophets. If it was Jesus the man giving the words to the prophets to give to us, then we would still need to obey the prophets.
The Law was given through the prophets, and Christians are dead to the Law.
(Romans 7:4) “That is why you, my brothers, who through the body of Christ are now dead to the Law, can now give yourselves to another husband, to him who rose from the dead to make us productive for God.”
If it was Jesus/God giving us the Word in the New Testament, then he would not have said he was doing as his Father said to do.
(John 12:47-48) “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them faithfully, it is not I who shall condemn him, since I have come not to condemn the world, but to save the world: he who rejects me and refuses my words has his judge already: the word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.”

dear Jack, do you not know the scripture? do you not know the One who i trust?
do you only know law and condemnation?
it pains me to consider that maybe all you know is an imaginary 'game' that you think you are 'winning' -- that would be nothing but loss.

Trust? Did Jesus say those who trust him will go to heaven with him?
blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
(Jeremiah 17:7)

How many people do you know that have seen Jesus? He said he would show himself to those who love him.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
(Matthew 5:8)

But you said you trust him right, you did not say you love him, sorry.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

It's folly to go through life wondering about our eternal destiny while we should know.

1 John presents the full "acid test" of the authenticity of our faith with many "Hereby we know" truths. Failing one of them gives warning we might not be one with Christ yet. The reason is simple. If those scriptures give us assurance we are in Christ and he is us, then lacking in them must indicate there are parts of the gospel we ignore or are ignorant of. We are commanded to believe and do all Jesus' words, such that we can be confident every verse of the book of 1 John assures us in spirit and mind of eternal salvation from sin to glory in Christ.

Check out at least 1 Jn 2:3, 5; 3:16,19, 24; 4:2,6, 13; 5:2 for the short list. Erase doubts forever by studying the word of God diligently, believing God.

While off topic, your words are correct as long as the central thought agrees with 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus was for those few years totally in possession of that flesh body, having come to it from his heavenly throne. That body is still his, though glorified, and has resumed his heavenly throne. There never was a time that holy Person named Jesus, the Son of God, didn't exist even a nanosecond, though has taken more than one form. Jesus stepped down from glory into flesh for us. Since Jesus took that form as a servant, found in the likeness (fashion) of a flesh and blood man, that man was not only a flesh and blood man, for his flesh and his blood was always holy and acceptable to Father God.

Trust does not mean one will go to heaven does it? Obedience to God, means one loves God, and it obedience that make God love us.
(John 14: 23) “Anyone who loves me will keep my word and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him.”

(John 14:21) “Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them will be one who loves me; and anybody who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and show myself to him.”

So you truly believe the Son of God was conceived by God the Father?

You are way off base with that.

Have you ever read the Scriptures?

Matthew 1:20
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was conceived by The Holy Spirit, not by the Father like you are teaching Johnlove.

This proves you really have not studied the Scriptures Johnlove for if you had surly you would have know Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and not by the Father.

So why are you teaching a different Gospel? Could it be because you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

Repent Johnlove and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior before its too late.

Just a thought, maybe in there is anyone who has doubts about their
salvation, that we can pray about it for you, if you want to post on here or
