I have witnessed people praying for the sick and those people being healed.

so.

Can you explain why Jesus gave people promises in John 6 which are not true?
The fact remains that you do not believe the scripture as it is written but place a condition of whether it is God's will to heal the person or not, and that is not what is written or what it says. But you will not do the same to ANY of the scripture that you believe addresses the OSAS doctrine.
But if you did apply the same standard of interpretation to Jn 6 as you do to the scriptures promising physical healing, you would have to add the same, if it's God's will that the person be eternally secure at the moment of their conversion, or the OSAS doctrine.
Isn't it God's will that all come to a saving knowledge of Christ?
And yet we know that is not the case.

In other words. You have no answer for John 6,

Thank you for nothing.

When Romans 3:26 is read in the absence of a basic knowledge of the Bible, it can be understood to imply that a man can live like the devil himself, and believe in Jesus like the devil himself believed in Jesus, and yet be justified by God.

When I was initially justified by God, it had absolutely nothing to do with any works of any kind that I had done. It only had to do with God’s love for me and His plan for my life. He wiped my slate clean of all wrongdoing, and told me through His word to trust Him for the ability to keep my slate clean of all wrongdoing. Moreover, He told me through His word to trust Him for the ability to add to my slate good deeds. Furthermore, He warned me through His word of the fatal consequences of trampling under foot the Son of God, and regarding as unclean the blood of the covenant by which I was sanctified, and insulting the Spirit of grace.
Your doctrine: Jesus, you saved me initially, but I did the rest. I was able to escape falling back into the world. Go me!

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand."

Seems pretty clear to me.
Not sure why this is even a question.
Proponents of the doctrine of eternal security like to quote John 10:27-29 out of context and totally miss the point that Jesus was making—the very point that got Him crucified!

27. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28. and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
29. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.” (NASB, 1995)

Here it is in context,

22. At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem;
23. it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon.
24. The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25. Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify of Me.
26. “But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.
27. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28. and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
29. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
30. “I and the Father are one.” (NASB, 1995)

In this passage, Jesus is asserting his deity. The importance of the words in verse 28 all but escapes the attention of many readers. Compare these two passages:

Isa. 43:13. “Even from eternity I am He, And there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?” (NASB, 1995)

Wisdom 3:1. But the souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them. (NAB, 1986)

Jesus is telling the Jews that His hand is the hand of God, and that, therefore, He is God! But notice that there is nothing at all in any of these three verses that says that anyone is grasped in the hand of God so that he cannot escape if he wants to. The point is that it is the hand of God, and being the hand of God there is safety. Those who are in the hand of God are in Christ, and in Christ is the eternal life—and no where else! Anyone who chooses either actively or passively to depart from the Christian faith departs from Christ and necessarily departs from the life that is in Christ. Just as we possess the safety of God only while we abide in Christ, we possess the life of Christ only while we abide in Him. Eternal life is Christ’s life and we posses it only in Him. The Greek adjective translated ‘eternal’ modifies the Greek noun translated ‘life,’ and thus describes not our possession of the life, but the life itself—the life of Christ that we share with Him when we are in Him.

The context of Isa. 43:13, quoted above, is important to the understanding of that verse and John 10:27-29.

1. But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
3. “For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your place.
4. “Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life.
5. “Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west.
6. “I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth,
7. Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.”
8. Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And the deaf, even though they have ears.
9. All the nations have gathered together So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can declare this And proclaim to us the former things? Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, “It is true.”
10. “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.
11. “I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me.
12. “It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And I am God.
13. “Even from eternity I am He, And there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?”
14. Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them all down as fugitives, Even the Chaldeans, into the ships in which they rejoice.
15. “I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.” (NASB, 1995)
16. Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
17. Who brings forth the chariot and the horse, The army and the mighty man (They will lie down together and not rise again; They have been quenched and extinguished like a wick):
18. “Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
19. “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
20. “The beasts of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.
21. “The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.
22. “Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob; But you have become weary of Me, O Israel.
23. “You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.
24. “You have bought Me not sweet cane with money, Nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
25. “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.
26. “Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right.
27. “Your first forefather sinned, And your spokesmen have transgressed against Me.
28. “So I will pollute the princes of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to the ban and Israel to revilement.” (NASB, 1995)

In spite of all that God did for Israel, and in spite of all of God’s promises to be faithful to Israel, Israel chose to disobey God and became reviled in His sight. The very same thing has been true of countless Christians whom God saved, blessed, and made promises to be faithful to—promises that were conditional upon their faithfully abiding in Christ. Indeed, in John 10:28, Jesus made the same promise to His people that God made to His people in Isaiah 43:13, and yet later in the same chapter of Isaiah, we read that many of His people departed from His hand and became reviled in His sight. Christians who choose to remain in the hand of God remain secure in their salvation; Christians who do not choose to remain in the hand of God lose their salvation.

Anyone who believes that God will continue to hold in His hand a Christian who has become an apostate needs to read what is written in Isa. 43.

Can you explain why Jesus gave people promises in John 6 which are not true?
If what you mean by it not being true, that you don't see it physically or that it has taken place, then absolutely.
The same reason why not everyone is save, even though it is not the will of God that any perish.
We know it's God's will for everyone to come to repentance from doubting Jesus as lord and savior of the whole world, and that Jesus took away the sins of the WHOLE WORLD, and yet we can clearly see that many reject Jesus as savior and that sin is still running rampant in the world.
Ever promise is conditional, and if those conditions are not met, then God is not obligated to fulfill His part of the promise.
And yes, I meant obligated when I said obligated.
God CANNOT lie, nor can He deny Himself, which is the promise itself. The promises are the word of God, and the word of God is Jesus, and Jesus cannot deny Himself.

Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

You either believe what is written, as it is written, or you reject the truth.
As I have proven time and time again, most don't even know what faith is or how it works, much less, thinking they have or had faith when they were hoping or wishing. Most can't even distinguish or recognize the difference between the two within themselves. They don't know if it's head faith, natural faith, hope, wishful thinking, or heart faith.
Salvation is conditional as much as healing is.
The difference between the two is that one is more difficult to show or prove took place than the other one is.
Most can't prove or see if salvation ever took place after a person confessed Jesus as their savior, but a physical healing that never manifested is very easy to both to prove or see.

In other words. You have no answer for John 6,

Thank you for nothing.
My answer is written below, but why do you demand something of me, then accuse me of ignoring your question, while ignoring my statement of double standards? How do you justify first, the hypocrisy of it and second, for ignoring my statement? If you don't know just say so.

I wrote, “He told me through His word to trust Him for the ability to add to my slate good deeds.

And yet a man who presents himself as being a Christian willfully, deliberately, maliciously, and horribly misrepresented what I believe. Is it even possible for a genuine Christian to behave in such a manner? Is it any wonder that men like that believe that they are eternally secure in spite of their devilish behavior?

That Scripture is absolutely true if you know the audience and time in which they are living. Who is the audience? The twelve tribes scattered abroad not the body of Christ. What time period? Great Tribulation. The Jews will be scattered and healing restored as a sign, thus Moses and Elijah show back up warning the Jew with signs and wonders. The Jews seek after signs.
Time is irrelevant, as God's promises are as He is, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The healings, and miracles didn't go out with the apostles, they happen the same way today as they did when the apostles we here. What was written to the church back then is for the church for today, otherwise, none of the promise are worth squat, which means your salvation is worth about the same.

The book of James was not written to the twelve tribes under the old covenant but to the church, which is the book I took the scripture from, promising healing to all, every time.

Gods promise to Abraham was unconditional.

You are bringing a definition to the discusion.
Apostate.?
Describe for me an apostate this day and age.

I have no idea what you are searching for, Yeshua himself visited sinners, you know those filthy uneducated low income base called servants.

Whatever you are looking for over the internet will be met with forgiveness.
Keep in mind that the Lord is faithfull.

What's meant by escaping someones attention?

OK Both the father and the Son’s hand working together as one give them eternal life no one can snatch them from His hand

It’s what OSAS say.

If he began the good work of salvation in them he will finish it to the end .he is our confidence we are to put no confidence in the flesh, zero, nothing

Is that what you were questioning?

What kind of life do you think he gives if not eternal?

Yes that hand gives eternal life no one is able to snatch them from our fathers hand. When they sin they are forgiven he cannot deny they are in his hand the better thing that accompanies salvation, redemption .

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Heb 6:10

Yeshua always reminds us to encourage one another in the Body of Christ.
The flesh that ole paul speaks of is probably better understood as skin.
To disinguish between muscle and skin will help.

Think of Simon the tanner and shod your feet.

One day perhaps everyone will all walk on Holy Ground.
Till then, it is best to labor in love and bring the Word to as many as possible.

The body of Christ is the spiritual body not seen. She as the bride of Christ as a new creation is no longer considered male or female, Jew nor gentile as a new creation, not the corrupted flesh as that seen . The use of the corrupted flesh does not distinguish between muscle and skin or flesh and bone but between the things seen (temporal)and those not seen (eternal) . Christ said of his flesh it profits for nothing, it is the unseen Spirit of God who is not a man as us that does quicken our soul giving us his unseen understanding.

What kind of life do you think he gives if not eternal, never ending.

Those in Hebrews 6 say long enough to crucify him again and again every time they deny Christ in unbelief. I think eternal life is the better thing that does accompany salvation .And I would also suggest don't worry he will not forget the work we offer towards his name .As he does work in us to both will and do His good pleasure He will finish that which he began.we have his confidence as a anchor to our soul.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Heb 6:10

MY favorite verse on the subject:

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; """""that ye may know that ye have eternal life"""""
(NOTE: That you may """KNOW""" that you have eternal life)

Day by day, we can enjoy the blessing of our eternal salvation. We are being guarded & protected by the power of God's indwelling Holy Spirit.

Given to every person that places their Faith. In the redemptive sin atoning sacrifice. Found in the death (sins wage paid), burial & resurrection (God's receipt, payment receive) of Jesus the Christ.
Amen: Wonderful truths in John 5:13 and the other verses you shared. Those who believe in Jesus Christ have everlasting life and are secure in Him!

But there is nothing in I John 5:13 that says that once a person is saved and has eternal life that they will always be saved and have eternal life. Or, am I missing something?

There are many verses. Which many?

Some who taste and see the good things to come fall away only to crucify Christ again and again holing him to public shame as if one demonstration was not enough for them to believe as an anchor to their soul.... having no anchor they drift.

I would say only the many have eternal life .Its those he will not cast out as he draws them towards his own self.If he began the good work he will finish it to the end.

Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.

John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

How many of those many do you think he will cast out?
He will not cast out any of the many that are believing in Him.

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand."

Seems pretty clear to me.
Not sure why this is even a question.
Here is the immediate context of the verse you quoted from John 10

[SUP]27 [/SUP]My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I agree it is quite clear: The sheep who are hearing his voice and knowing him and following him have been given eternal life, and no man is able to pluck them out of the Father's hand, and they will never perish! Yes, and amen, hallelujah!

That is what the text says: I prefer to leave it at that rather than add to it by saying that "once a person is saved (is a sheep) that they will always be saved (always be a sheep). The text does not say that.

It is enough for me that when I believe and hear my Master, and then know and follow Him, I can know that I have eternal life.

I think it minimizes the promises given in these verses if we add to the text what it does not actually say.
