Yes, If a believer ceases to believe then he is an unbeliever.
This is what I mean, and proves my point, which you in essence attempted to deny:

A lot of the reason you come to problematic and unbiblical errors is the fact you think you can come into and out of belief on your own. :)
You're being disingenuous bro. It's difficult to take this conversation seriously when you do this, when you assert I'm misrepresenting you when it is obvious I'm not.

Here:

Really? I think "that I can come into and out of belief on my own"? That's interesting! LOL!
Yes, because that is what you believe. It certainly is interesting, isn't it?

Interesting, interesting! I never said the faith was mine. Of course the faith is very, very, very supernatural. I do not believe my decision clinches the salvation.
Hmmmmm. But you do:

Simply put - I believe I am saved by God's grace through my response in faith,
Sorry, non sequitir. Brother, with all due respect your arguments are inconsistent, contradictory, and eisegetical.

You really need to study out Ephesians 1:19. I'd suggest Martyn Lloyd-Jones as a listen:

https://www.mljtrust.org/sermons-online/ephesians-1-19-23/the-final-consummation/

Please take the time and listen to this very good exegetical treatment of the text. Please? And learn?

You say it is not your faith, but then you claim you can believe then "unbelieve."

Chester, let's just say what is glaringly apparent: You are confused about the whole thing. That said, you also use much eisegetical theory when alluding to Scripture. I hope you will come to the truth that salvation is eternal and isn't dependent upon you.

I know, I know, you say it isn't dependent upon you.

Sorry, Chester, that is not true. There is no way it isn't true. The fact remains your salvation is up to you and your performance. You teach it. You preach it. You believe it. Then you try to talk yourself out of it.

It is up to you, you can stop believing and go in and out of salvation. What a schizophrenic false gospel that is my bro!

I love you, brother. Sounds like we will just have to let this one go . . .

So, finally, and then I retire for the night, here is my (in your words) "schizophrenic false gospel":

Simply put - I believe I am saved by God's grace through my response in faith, and this is not anything of my own doing, but the whole thing together is the gift of God: it is not in any means by works that I am saved, and thus there is zero grounds for boasting on my part! But now I am the workmanship of God created unto good works which was God's plan from the beginning.

This is what I believe.

If a believer is 100 % sure about him being saved - salvation is a one time event, but assurance doesn't always automatically follow, many people struggle with it for years - he will start to change.

Thank you all for being so helpful -- you seem a bit "worried" about me - You needn't be - I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day!

You are getting away a bit from the intent of the thread - which is to see if there is a verse that clearly says "once saved always saved". No one has given me any yet, and don't think anyone can find any! (Oh, I know, you say I have been shown many, and I just twist them around and eisegete, etc. etc.) My conclusion is that "once saved always saved" can only be read into verses if one begins with a belief in the doctrine.

My assurance is based on the fact that I am right now believing in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is bearing witness with my spirit that I am a child of God! I have all over again this past week been completely amazed anew that the God of all heaven and Earth would call me a son and treat me as an honored guest in His house. But that He has - I am a son of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Praise be to His name!
