Thought it might be a nice idea to make a space where everyone could offer daily testimonies to inspire and encourage other brothers and sisters. I think most of us hear from God each day in a personal way ... why not share it when we can?

Here is mine for today:

After posting here I became restless and decided to go grab a bite to eat. Weather station said clear, sunny, no rain. So I took my scooter and went for breakfast. As I ate I thought of taking a day trip ... and even though the weather station said all clear I thought it felt like rain. I was conflicted. So I asked God to please let me know if driving around today would be good.

I finished eating and went to gas up and lo and behold, the whole gas station was shut down due to technical difficulties!

Thank you Lord for answering my question :)

As I started driving home I thought with certainty: "God will hold the rain off for me until I get home" ... hehe ... The first drops fell after I parked my bike at home. :D

This thread is such an amazing idea for the bdf :D
I don't have much to give as a testimony today except for God blessing me with everyones posts in cc today, I am not feeling the best today and everyones posts have been helping me make it through today. I have always wanted to encourage and to help strengthen and to build others up but today it seems like the roles have been reversed lol.
It's ok though we all need help sometimes even the strongest of warriors have limits and need help

Take heart, Brother, the day is not over yet ... I personally have found that great blessings from God are usually preceded by humbling. Surely the Lord is preparing you for something good. :)

Well, it's not exactly a testimony, but my original person who was going to give me a kitten, reneged on her offer. :( Other things in my life have been pulling together nicely lately, and I may possibly have found someone else to get a kitten from. :)

Aw ... well ... God is probably making sure you get just the right one ... :)

I know He had me wait and run here and there for my first puppy ... I had gone to one place but couldn't afford the pups there, but on the bus ride home God encouraged me with a woman's purse in my face ... all over it was written "a little foxy just for you" ... and the next place I went, an hour later, I found my baby Twinkie. :)

I actually have three dogs now, lol ...

I couldn't think of a name for my last one so I asked God. He named her Olivia. :) I thought "what a perfect name!" -from the olive tree :D

Praise God!!! My yougest daughter got into trouble, BIG trouble.

Missed court dates, did not obey probation requirements, didn't pay fines, suspended dl, then got caught driving AGAIN and under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

We expected at the very least 90 days, maybe a year and I told her before I would not bond her out (again) BUT our Advocate spoke grace into the situation.

She got 28 days. Praise God!!! 28 days for her to reflect on His goodness.

I have a lot of good stories about how God answers prayers and questions, but here is one that happened to me a few years ago after receiving the anointing of the Holy Spirit and after I had moved from Florida out into the hill country of Tennessee. I have neighbors here but none really live that close by, as several acres separate our properties. But 2 of my closest neighbors own livestock, one owns goats, the further one away owns some sheep.

Both the goats and the sheep had gotten out on occasion, and I would try to notify the neighbors when this happened so as not to lose any, as there are a lot of coyotes up here. The goats and sheep were usually real standoffish when I would try to approach them, and usually when they saw me, or I tried even approaching them, it would send them all running back home being fearful of me.

Well one day I sat on my porch pondering on the words of God and I looked up and saw my furthest neighbors sheep standing out in the middle of the road about 100 yards away. And I said to the Lord, Lord if it is your will that I feed your sheep that which you have given me, then let these sheep in the road come to me and eat out of my hand as a sign to confirm to me that this is your will for me. So I began to call my neighbors sheep with my best sheep call I knew (lol) and lo and behold they began walking toward me.

Now I'm thinking they are probably going to get a little closer and then bolt like they usually do, but they didn't. As a matter of fact they came to me with such vigor they were pushing each other and squeezing through the small openings in this cattle gate that was closed between me and them. And they all walked right up to me, which blew me away. So then I pat the lead one on the head and began feeding each one of the sheep out of my hand with some deer corn I had on my porch in a bucket. So it happened just as I had asked the Lord.

Now some might say, well the sheep got used to you, or they came to you because you showed them food. But I never showed them the food until they came up to me, and also after that day the sheep went right back to being afraid me and running away from me when they saw me. So for me, I knew the Lord had moved those sheep to come to me and eat out of my hand. The Lord does listen to your requests, and often times the Lord will give you the answer. Peace :)

The only thing I can think of today is, a work friend of mine who is moving to Tasmania came to me and said, "Were you planning to fly over to Tassie and see your parents this year?" (Because they are moving there too next week, and so shall we eventually God willing) I replied hopefully and he said there are very cheap specials to fly there at the moment. So I got excited and thought maybe my wife can go over later in the year to visit my parents as a treat because she loves it there as much as I do so I text messaged her. She replied back, "I had a dream this morning that you had flown over to Tasmania so you should go with one of the boys and see your mum." As much as I want her to go, hallalujah! :D

That's a wonderful testimony Brother! :)

No need to justify it to me ... I KNOW that God hears us and talks to us constantly...

I think, sadly, that many folks miss out on such blessings simply because they don't ask God questions for Him to answer, and If they do, they don't listen actively for an answer ... I pray that more people find the faith to include God in their day to day lives ... God IS interested in every detail! :)

God loves to fulfill our desires. I have found Him to be a very loving and doting Father. He has crossed out many an item from my bucket list. :) When we were children did we head off to the park without asking our parents' permission? Of course not ...hehe ... let us all be as little children. Ask your Father what He thinks about it... :)
