My best friend, who diligently prayed for my salvation for years, had an encounter with God through watching Joyce Meyer at 4am in the morning in his suicidal, depressed state.

I've watched Joyce M. for years and have heard so many testimonies like that of your friend who was used to diligently pray for you. So many people who are home alone, or in some hotel alone drinking have turned on the tv and some preacher is on., or Joyce!! As if that should shock us??? TV is used daily by millions and millions of people. TV is some people's constant companion. Sick people who can't go out., kids, elderly. The list goes on.

And yet so many Christians want to shame anyone who even listens to tv preaching. I have been on CC for a few years now and many people here want to shame anyone who identifies with Joyce M. for instance. I have heard so many false accusations against this woman that it will take Jesus Himself to clean up all the lies. There is no way to tell what is true and what isn't once people begin to take someone apart.

And why is it people (Christians) who should know better about slander... DON'T!? They just join in and become added to the number of the willingly deceived.

LOL...I wonder too...she probably flies on a plane with Trump too.........

I can't believe the gossip and malice and slander that Christians spread around about people. They won't drink or smoke but they will rip apart anyone in the body of Christ at the drop of a hat.

Well......maybe she is a best friend of Trump in reality and she is actually behind his campaign for President!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wow, maybe they are long time friends?!!!! It had to have been before the time she was pregnant and abandoned at age 19 or 20 by her first husband alone and penniless? Or maybe before that when she was abused as a little girl by her father and his friends and strangers? Somewhere between all the abuse and poverty in her life, she might have met Trump? Well, maybe the OP on this thread and his supporters can clear this up for us since they seem to know sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much about Joyce Meyers life and times and motivations and opportunities and spending habits and most of all, her private relationship with Jesus.

Amen..well said...

The reason these self-proclaimed heretic hunters on the internet don't stop slandering and spreading malice around is found in the below scripture...that is "if" there is a sin in the other person.

Galatians 6:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

They are carnal, baby Christians and Peter exhorts them to grow up.

1 Peter 2:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

It has been more annoying than usual to be coming on CC these days. Reading the threads of guys like the OP who actually and reeeallllly thinks he knows the truth about someone like Joyce M. whom he has never met. And no doubt even the other Christians who are high profile people on tv or radio who he also has never met.

Why can't any of you guys (like this OP) and those who agree with him on his thread and on CC (who are many)., ever do even a tiny bit of the work someone like Joyce M. does? Or many of these Christians on tv and radio do?? What's wrong with you? Why can't you get out there and minister?

How many people have you shared the Lord Jesus with this week?., how about in the last few months? How about in the last year or maybe 5 years?? Or how about even in your whole life time up to now? How many people write you or call you and thank you for telling them about Jesus? Do you even have one letter???

I'm almost positive most of you critics like this OP have not had even one person write you and thank you for sharing Jesus. Let alone thousands. Has God used you to minister to someone even in your neighborhood or at work lately??? Have you been available? Do you even know HOW to "minister" on a small scale? Let alone on such a huge scale where the stakes are higher... The enemies bigger and much more varied so any mistakes you make are magnified to something that doesn't even resemble a truth anymore.

And yet even still you have nothing better to do but look for the chinks in your brothers or sisters armor so you can add your "info" (along side the unsaved of the world) and try to bring these Christian people down. Those who are actually your brothers and sisters in Christ who have put up the tv and the radio time. Who have done things that caused satellites to be placed all over the world so the name of Jesus Christ can be shared and preached all over the world. When was the last time you Mr.OP put up a radio tower so the Gospel could go to more people?

How very pathetic it is that so many Christians find it so very very rewarding to find fault with the Joyce Meyers of the church. And yet you are not alone because many people have decided to be the mini spiritual police and become self proclaimed heretic hunters wielding self righteous swords and pitchforks and running through the "streets" trying to do "God's will" by exposing them and killing them off if not by literally using the tools of swords and pitchforks, but your words of false accusations.

You are like people who for all the religious ZEAL you have, are totally lacking any actual real knowledge of the truth... all you have is bits and pieces of this report and that report or no report. As you consume these people upon your own lusts.

You allow yourself the luxury that it's ok to not be sure of what you are saying before you say it and post it here. Afterall., someone else DID say it first somewhere......But the problem is they are also as self appointed as the OP but never self examining. Never EVER self examining. Just too busy getting the splinter out of the Joyce Meyers of the church., the Billy Grahams and any of the others that dared go out and do God's will under the scrutiny and "all seeing eye" of the truly blinded and self deceived of the world and of the church sad to say.
You have truly inspired me ..... to do more. Since I'm label the bad guy by "the majority", I'm gonna do some more.

Here's some more on that heretical teaching, from The Teachings of Joyce Meyer - Christian Research Institute

Meyer shares the platform from time to time with Word of Faith teachers like, for example, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Benny Hinn, and T.D. Jakes. CRI is critical of and concerned with some of her practices and teachings.
In her 1991 booklet, The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make, she teaches a hallmark doctrine of Faith theology, namely, that Christ had to suffer in hell to atone for our sins and be born again:
"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin….He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme…Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus….He was resurrected from the dead asthe first born-again man."
Her assertions are not unlike those of leading Word of Faith proponent Kenneth Copeland, who also believes Christ’s death on the cross was not sufficient to atone for our sins, and that His work of redemption was completed by suffering in hell and being born again. According to Copeland,
"When Jesus cried, “It is finished!” He was not speaking of the plan of redemption. There were still three days and nights to go through before He went to the throne….Jesus’ death on the cross was only the beginning of the complete work of redemption.
[The] word of the living God went down into the pit of destruction and charged the spirit of Jesus with resurrection power! Suddenly His twisted, death-wracked spirit began to fill out and come back to life. He began to look like something the devil had never seen before. He was literally being reborn before the devil’s very eyes. He began to flex His spiritual muscles….Jesus was born again as the first-born from the dead."
According to a recently published interview with free-lance writer Ken Walker, however, Meyer contradictorily denies ever believing or teaching that Christ was born again in hell.
Moreover, in her 1991 booklet, Meyer asserts that salvation is impossible without believing Jesus suffered in hell as the believer’s substitute. Meyer writes, “There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell.

You know, maybe that last post didn't have any "context" to it..... let's try again with this video:

[video=youtube;nFG7cXOLiQQ]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFG7cXOLiQQ[/video]

I sure hope that has enough "context" to keep me from twisting what JM believes into something wicked.:)

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

It's serious business where we choose to feed. Those presenting "another Jesus", should be exposed, not glorified, nor made excuses for. In addition, if any care about Meyer, shouldn't they make every effort to point out the errors? These are no small errors!

Dave is in the top 5 most wealthy musicians and somehow he isn't creative or whatever. Lol. The only thing Kurt did was tap into a bunch of stoned, long haired, flannel wearing kids depressive angst. Lol.
Dave also happens to be (at times) a secret member of Ghost. The Illuminaughty made him wealthy, not his counterfeit Nirvana songs :p

I'm just playing. I love the Foo. But I was really disappointed when I found out he performs as an occasional member of Ghost from time to time :(

I especially like the part where she said "Hear the word of the Lord". She is saying that what she is telling you to say to your wallet is to prophesy to it..... using God's authority. The clay is telling the Potter what to do. Since when do we have the right to proclaim anything as "the word of the Lord" without the Holy Spirit's leading?

how many little old ladies on fixed income sent their last $20.00 to these preachers because they were mislead thinking the more they give the more they will be blessed. my little old lady land lady was taught this, every bible discussion we had she would always find a way to throw in the importance of giving money to the church and every time she gave she was blessed with a return of money somewhere. its not a business investment.
these tv preachers have followings in the billions, of course there are gonna be some good stories out there. the damage they do is far worse than any good.

Likewise, I would not be here today were it not for that fantastic Woman of God, whose tapes pulled me out of a tailspin about 25 years ago.

Sometimes I find something & just want to share it with everybody on CC. This time it's Joyce Meyer saying something I never thought I'd hear her say publicly. It'll blow yer mind.:)

[video=youtube;DNdeixX6drg]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNdeixX6drg[/video]

she obviously means God...I watch her enough to know she means God

I say things all day long that if they were taken out of context and put on youtube with some gnarly basement dwelling gnome inserting dubious comments of well rehearsed shock and concern I could be the next leader of the insurgents in the gum machine at your local grocer

get a grip

doesn't the music just add so much...wonder who the composer was...just a real classic of the youtube gen

see? I really control the sarcasm most days

Amen...the fruit of her ministry will speak for itself in front of her Lord.

People take something she said 25 years ago or something that they just don't quite agree on and blast her name as filth all over the internet. Who of us knows all things as we ought to know them? I know I wouldn't want people to judge me on something I said years ago. Would you?

Absolutely. I, myself, actually used to teach the mistaken assumption that God punished Jesus on the cross. I just didn't know any better back then.

Haha I'm sorry am I missing something? Is this turning into a debate thread on whether or not Joyce Meyer is a heretic? I thought this was one of the very few clear-cut issues across the forum?

1+1=2, Earth is round, Nirvana was the greatest grunge band (NOT ALICE IN CHAINS), and Joyce Meyer is a heretic. I thought all of these things made basic sense?

yeah

you're missing alot

for one thing nirvana apparently wasn't

Pleeze understand that the video was NOT to bash JM, but to show her teaching something that is totally illuministic. I had no clue folks would run rampant with it. My intent was to expose the Illuminati's involvement in the church & who's working for them. *SHEESH*
oh ok...I feel so much better now

ok everybody...you can stop running rampant now

(takes off running shoes, puts feet up and watches tv)
