Revelation 5:6 - And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
....God is more than just the ''trinity'' God the father said we shall have NONE beside him. Jesus taught us to look at the father through him. Not to worship him as God. Theres only one God and thats the father.
Thank you for drawing HeRose out into the open.

I don't find the expression GOD the son in the bible, but I do find the son of GOD. IMO saying GOD the son is like saying Man the son, which is nonsensical. I think that the expression GOD the father, which does appear in the bible, should be written GOD, the father.
there is a good reason why the phrase is not in the bible and Jesus never called himself that.

No, Jesus called the Father, God. There is one God the Father, one God the Son, and one God the Holy Spirit. Who together comprise the One True God.
This concept is not found in scripture. No mention of the holy spirit here. We are in the true one in Jesus Christ.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding in order that we may know the one who is true, and we are in the one who is true in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:20

The seven spirits of God are just manifestation of God...they are not 7 "Gods"...are you saying that Jesus is not God in the flesh?

Here are scriptures that tell of Jesus being worshipped.

Matthew 2:2 (KJV)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Here angels are worshipping Jesus as the Son of God.

Hebrews 1:5-6 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"?

[SUP]6 [/SUP] And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM."

I think you should revisit your beliefs on who God is. Jesus came as a Man and God to bring us back to the Father by the Holy Spirit.

John 1:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] He was in the beginning with God.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

The makeup of God is somewhat of a mystery but scripture bears out that they are 3 and yet One.

I thought he said in another thread that the Holy Spirit was God?....or maybe I just thought that?...maybe that's why he calls Holy Spirit an "it" when he refers to Him. It's probably best to ask him outright and not speculate.

Jesus calls Holy Spirit a "Him"....

John 16:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

John 16:13-14 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

[SUP]14 [/SUP] "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.

Ok..now that makes sense....Yes..there is only one God the Father..just as there is only one God the Son. But Jesus is God as much as the Father is and the Holy Spirit is. They have different functions but act as One.

There is much about the triuness of God that is a mystery for sure and we can't fathom it all out in our human minds.

Phew..you had me there for a minute..lol...if Jesus wasn't God - we'd be in deep trouble.

It that case...you are 100% wrong...Jesus is God just like the Father. You are not understanding God at all and most likely not understanding when the scriptures say that there is one God and when Jesus as a Man said to worship God..

I have already shown you scriptures that show Jesus was worshipped even though Jesus said to worship God only. You really need to revisit this wrong belief you have about the Son of God.

If Jesus is not God...we are in very deep trouble. Where did you get this belief that Jesus is not God?

Where did you get the belief that Jesus is the one true GOD, seeing that it's not in the bible (see my post below)? The catholic church?

No..Jesus is not Abba Father..He is God the Son...just like the Holy Spirit is God too. They are One but have different functions within each other. It's a mystery which we cannot understand completely with our little minds.

Study this out and you'll see that there are definitely 3 distinct beings in what is called God which includes the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Well God isnt a category...If you wanna add Jesus to that you gotta make it Gods which makes Idolatry

So, you do not believe Jesus is God? That explains a lot. There are tons of scripture that say Jesus is God in the flesh.

I have no idea what the catholic church teaches...all's I know is that they have a pope.

I attend 3 churches normally but right now I cant. Why are you asking?
Because the Christian understanding of the triune nature of God is central to our belief.

nonsense....Jesus is God...you really need to study up on this. Where did you get this strange false doctrine that Jesus is not God?

There are no "Gods"...there is the 3 in One which as I said is a mystery. You are trying to understand this with your mind which is why you think when people say there are 3 in One...that they are saying there are more then one God.
