So it's not just about the sabbath for you is it? What's the group you are involved with??
No denomination. We study Scripture, house to house, and Feast-day gatherings. We all came out of the Sunday Church. I was with the Baptists for about 12 years.

Yes. men are being born again daily as long as today is today and the sun and moon remain our time keepers.
And many are entering His rest "today". Heb. 4:1-11

That is exactly what the adversary wants you to do. We were duped. It is time to come out of it. He tricked us all. Sunday worship, Easter, Christmas, eating pork,... rather than the Holy Days that God calls His, Leviticus 23, and we threw his dietary laws in the trash. Yes, it hurts our pride, but we were tricked. Come out of it.
Quite amusing. I hear the grace-alone clan use this same tactic.

Do you study anything else?

I understand what you said. Still, we should let Scripture define the terms. It is the dictionary that all the disciples used. When you said "Sabbath", they knew exactly what it meant.

Every so often we get into a huge argument about the Sabbath. Some argue that it HAS to be observed on Saturday. Others, like myself, believe the point of this law is to make sure we get a day’s rest each week. I will site this Scripture to back up my belief:

[27] And he said to them, "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath;
[28] so the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath."
Mart 2:27-28 RSV
I think you are exactly right.

Do you think your jesus broke the 4th commandment? If he did, then you better get another savior.
Jesus kept many of the the ceremonial laws as shadows. He was baptized in keeping the cerimoinal law of a new priest entering the ministry. It like the Sabbath is not something we can judge each other by. If it could then the man that Jesus promised would enter paradise that day, was told a lie.

do you understand that if your jesus broke even one single commandment, then he disqualified himself to be the savior. You do understand that, right?

The Scripture will judge anyone who is not obey God's commandments. The Messiah did not abolish the commandments. He took our penalty, which is death.

Amen. The work of the faith of God was finished from the foundation (6 days) as the lamb of God slain in respect to the eternal wage we did owe.

Already this thread is turning into yet another war thread already people are beginning to pick up their swords and if everyone wishes to once again fall into the enemies trap and go into fiery debates with each other obviously there is nothing I can do about it but I warn all of you to consider the damage you cause in your debates. New believers come here all time and many have been chased away from Christian chat and I even spoke with some who quit their faith because of these debates here and because none of us were willing to lay down our swords, our words and our actions are exactly as a sword they can cut down they make others bleed they can hurt and they can be swung wildly but they also can be used to encourage to strengthen to uphold and to show the heart and love of God.

So choose today who you serve and what your blade is for and consider the damage you cause to others in your debates and your senseless arguing

No, I am saying it was not sin, because they were hungry and no other good options. The Messiah did not break the Sabbath commandment. He was accused of breaking it several times, but He did not.

Let's see. Yeshua, Moshe, Shaul, Yacov, Yohannaon the Immerser,... do you read any of these?
I've read them all. The question was about teachings of those other than scripture that you study.

No sword here. This is a topic that needs to be brought out. It is not fun. I am not here to make enemies. It will be fine.
