I believe this is very relevant to our times and hope it brings some back from the brink! Republicans, Democrats, Denominational divisions, etc..

According to the Bible, is love really blind? Is hatred a lucid state to live in? How can hating a person blind you to who they really are? And how does a distorted view of others cause blindness toward God?

Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Decent message if not myopic. We are called to agape' others - even to love the sinner but hate the sin. We can and must address falseness wherever it is; denominations; work; family etc. but to do so in a loving way - again not the person but the issue. Not so sure about Monica and Gary Dennington though - sort of a feminist, God is a woman doctrine that needs correction. All is not right in Dallas ...

Let love be wthout dissimulation; abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good ...

I submit that unless we obey Jesus and not men's twisted version of truth, that love of the Holy Spirit will be quenched in our life.

All that matters is what scripture says and it says...

Seven eternal promises on the future of those who have been Sealed by the Holy Spirit,

For a Christian to lose their salvation and be expelled from the kingdom…

1. God would have to forsake us, when he said he wouldn’t (Heb 13:5)
2. God would have to cast us out, when he said he wouldn’t (John 6:37)
3. God would have to condemn us, when he said he wouldn’t (Rom 8:1,34)
4. God would have to withdraw his Spirit, when he said he wouldn’t (John 14:16-17)
5. God would have to remember our sins, when he said he wouldn’t (Jer 31:34, Heb 10:17)
6. God would have to forget that we are his children, when he said he wouldn’t (Is 49:15)
7. God would have to blot our names out of the book of life, when he said he wouldn’t (Rev 3:5)

Don't be a hater, but be appalled at all the atrocities that will happen in the last days...
Don't rise up and think to right a wrong or an offense to GOD...leave all men to GOD'S final judgment...
But do not go up with any man who is doing those things which are against GOD...

Don't withhold from any man what is in your ability to give (James)...give to all men...and pray for all men...

Just a question for the average poster here:

Does Jesus hate ____________________ ? (Enter the name of the TV Preacher you love to hate.)
