Like I said before just because something has the potential to be evil doesn't mean it itself is evil. It's like a cross christian right side up but if its flipped it could be satanic! But I appreciate your concern.

Well its getting late I think I am going to sign off. I will say that fact that you apreaciate the concern shows growth in you. As Christians we should always be open to advice from fellow believers.

One thing I would like to add though is you said that the cross when upright is christian, and yes what Jesus did on the cross created the only way for us to see God. But you just have to wander why the satanic band "Black Sabbath" wore crosses around their neck that were right side up.

Well it certainly shouldn't be used as the trinity. That is what I believe it was made to represent by being put on the NKJV if I am correct. What does the Bible say about making an image of the trinity.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead (trinity) is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. Acts 17:29
You took this verse WAY out of context. The whole point of this verse is Paul speaking to the Greeks in Athens, stating that God had set each people in its place, defined their borders, set their alloted time and done so in a manner that they might seek Him without knowing about Him...but since the Gospel was now available, then they should no longer think that they could define God to whatever shape they saw fit, as they did with stone, silver or gold. He is immutable, and no amount of twisting logic and words would change that. In other words, Here I am, stop trying to create a form for me that suits you.
This had nothing to do with idols, or making images of the trinity, if you read all of it in context. Also, try a different translation if you struggle, or get a Strong's and use it, English tends to have one common word often cover multiple different words in the Hebrew and Greek..short of learning the originals, which I don't have time to do, a Concordance is the best way to go.

Because they were a part of a scene, a music scene. I highly doubt after shows Tony Iommi or Geezer Butler would go home to their Satanic altar they kept hidden under their bed and offer up virgins and children to the devil.

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11
Again, out of context...Paul writing to Corinth, and if you use the entire verse, you get a message from Paul about forgiving together, so that Satan cannot get in between the brothers and sisters of the church. Verse 11 is not a standalone..and you have to be cautious with the chapter and verse divisions as they were added in the 13th century (give or take) and are arbitrary division that frequently..as in the case of this verse, happen in the middle of a sentence.

This thread really seems to be getting kinda strange. I think folks have said what they wanna say. To keep the peace and to keep it devolving further I'm closing it.
