One camp had the instruction book from God, but didn't recognize the Messiah.
The other camp recognized the Messiah, but wanted nothing to do with the instruction book.
but then... what would the united camp look like?

Here is what the united camp looks like: Rev 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

1 John 3:23-24 (NASB)

[SUP]23 [/SUP] This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.

[SUP]24 [/SUP] The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Yea, they made their hearts [as] an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law,
and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:
therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 7:11-12 (KJV)

This post didn't go exactly where I though it was going. All I know is that around the age of fourteen I joined a Church of God of Prophecy. It was a great church. Full of love and sincerely seeking the truth of God. The problem was there efforts to be holy led them to tremendous legalism. They had a list of do's and don'ts that was quite extensive.
It took me a long time after leaving them to get out of legalism in my own mind and to accept God's grace as it was meant to be.
Religion, legalism, and tradition has done untold damage to God's church and all should be avoided as much as possible.

GRACE is not only forgiveness of sin, that is only the start of grace from God to sinners. The grace of God takes a sinner from DEATH and to the Love and Life of God. Grace takes any person that believe the Word of God, ALL the way to God's fullness.

Grace gives three things: Forgiveness, Power to overcome and Fulfillment of God Himself. Grace is God's Love that saves a man from a thief to a loving giver of honest earnings.... Look how God explains: Eph_4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. From thief to loving giver, and doing good, God's will. God's grace does not keep you in sin, but takes you to holiness.

. ... perhaps those united camp could help the world of good people
thats why our lord christ jesus our savior told this verses unto all
during that time
:read: (as it is written)
Mateo: 24. 13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

~;> DOES ANYONE OF YOU SAW THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION
WITHIN YOUR CAMP
JUST ASKIN AND HOPE WE DONT OFFEND ANYONE HERE

:ty:

godbless us all always

Only two kinds on men. Those who are saved and those who are lost. The lost reject the revelation and righteousness of God and exchange it for a false revelation and self righteousness. The saved receive the revelation and righteousness of God in Christ.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Jesus made it simple. Two Rules, 1. Love God (The Spirit of TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS) above all else. express it by 2. Love your neighbor (including your enemies).

Even atheists like George Carlin recognized that loving your neighbor would preclude half of the ten commandments concerning killing stealing adultery etc. He did not realize the other commandments like keeping the Sabbath holy were covered by loving God above all else.

Paul understood that nothing that goes into a man can make him unclean so he could eat meat offered to idols with a clear conscience. But he also understood the meaning of grace and was willing out of love for those who believed it was a sin to do so, to NOT eat meat offered to idols. Giving up his freedoms out of love for others.

As far as grace over rides everything tag. Jesus said JUDGE NOT! If those who asked Jesus "when did we see you hungry or thirsty" were "christians" they would not have needed to ask that questions. Not only christians will be ushered into heaven, but those who love others and do the will of Jesus Father in heaven (Spirit or Truth and Righteousness)

I personally like to call the holy bible Gods love letter to those he loved, Not Gods instruction book.. That in itself hints of legalism.

Paul doesn't indicate "legalism" in the scriptures and the only scriptures he had at that time is what we Christians call the Old Testament, but Paul calls them scriptures.

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Jesus also said that having the law as in the OT did not produce righteousness but the OT was a schoolteacher to testify of Him.

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

When someone loves you, They send you a love letter. In that letter is instructions.

Saying it is a love letter is so much better than sayin gan instruction manual.. An instruction manual says do this or else (legalism) a love letter says here is my word to you.

Religion is more often than not used as a tool to manipulate the masses with those rules. the last thing religious leaders want is for people to actually listen to God through the Holy Spirit. It is not a coincidence that Jesus main criticisms were made toward the scribes and pharisees and that it was the high priests that wanted Jesus removed. They must have lost a lot of money when Jesus chased the money changers out of the temple courtyard, not to mention the danger of them losing their power from Herod and Caesar to control their people by collaborating with the enemy, both violations of Gods laws.

Paul as a Roman was a free man and never under rules as the Jews were. I see the bible as instructions and lessons based more on metaphors than on historical fact.

Reminds me of a song by Amy Grant.

Got a ticket coming home
Wish the officer had known
What a day today has been.
Then your letter caught my eye
Brought the hope in me to life
Cause you know me very well
And I bet you wrote it just to tell me
In a little while we'll be with the Father
Can't you see Him smile
In a little while we'll be home forever
In a while.
We're just here to learn to love Him
We'll be home in just a little while

Boy that letter hit the spot
Made me think of all I've got
And all that waits for me.
Guess I've known it all day long
Wonder where my thoughts went wrong
When will my heart believe
Waking' half-way through the night
Reaching' toward the lamp for light
Picking' up the Word I find
Here's another letter to remind me
