Never quit, never give up! Why?

Commit your actions to the LORD and your plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16: 3)

The very second you start to believe you’re successful enough to rest your laurels, you are in trouble. You’ve put a lid on your growth! Solomon wrote: ‘Do you know a hard-working man? He shall be successful and stand before Kings! (Proverbs 22: 3 TLB)

Success is always a possibility, but never a guarantee. It belongs to the man or woman who’s willing to show up early, stay late, go the extra mile, and keep on asking, ‘is there a better way?.

An agency once created an ad for an automobile company. It said ‘At 60mph the loudest noise in this new Rolls Royce comes from an electric clock’ Now when they ran the ad by the company’s CEO, he smiled and said, ‘I guess we’ve got to do something about the clock!’

A young man once asked Henry Ford, how can I make a name for myself and be successful?’ he replied, ‘decide what you want, then stick with it. Never deviate from your course no matter how long it takes or how hard the road is, until you’ve accomplished your purpose.

You see, successful people have one thing in common: they refuse to quit! No matter how many times they fail, they get back up, dust themselves off, learn from it, and start over.
Paul J. Meyers says: ‘Ninety nine percent of those who fail are not actually defeated, they simply quit.’ But the Bible says: ‘To win…you must deny yourselves…things that… keep you from doing your best’ (1 Corinthians 9: 25)

The only people who never fail are those who never try.

So keep going, and don’t even think about quitting.

“Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.” (Alfred to Bruce Wayne in the Batman movies)

"Each time I find myself flat on my face I pick myself up and get back in the race" (Lyric from the Sinatra song “That’s Life”)

Concerning attaining a virtuous life:
"You must ask God’s help. Even when you have done so, it may seem to you for a long time that no help, or less help than you need, is being given. Never mind. After each failure, ask forgiveness, pick yourself up, and try again. Very often what God first helps us towards is not the virtue itself but just this power of trying again.” ( C.S. Lewis, “Mere Christianity”)

Romans 12:3

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

Romans 5:

1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Quitters never win, and Winners never quite.
Paul said having done all to stand, Eph 6: 13--14.

if you don't stand, you don't win,
If you stand, you do win.

My apologies, For some odd reason I put the word why at end of the Title statement. Just to clarify, I am not asking why, I must of thinking of other things when I was typing the thread lol. Thanks for all your comments though. God bless.

P.S, if anyone replying to this thread, please note before hand, ignore the last word (Why?) at the end of the title. I am not asking the question. Thanks
