it is not just overlooked but is becoming glorified by our culture that is the main issue I think.

group that pickets funerals and such, with placards saying God hates fags.
God hates all workers of iniquity. Do you believe God loves them?

What would Jesus do? Did he sit silent and ask the tax collectors and merchants in the temple why they were there. No he acted and he drove them out with cords tied together. Also we are to shun them if they purposely continue in sin after they have been reproved.
If you are going to quote specific incidences to justify doing something, you are in error if you don't cite ALL of them, and then decide how Jesus treated situations most of the time.... AND who the people were He was talking to at the time.

THEN you get to go look at the specific instructions He gave us. You've got to REALLY stretch it to justify being His police force.

He certainly never made a thread to rage against "them," and cheer on others to join in.

He absolutely loves them. It is only us who want to hate, and look to every time the word is printed to justify us doing it....... despite the fact He very plainly and directly told us to love them also.

I didn't mean for my words to come off as inciting violence Willie-T but rather the quick decisive action he made. I don't condone violence at all. We need to love but to allow a person to live in sin without telling them their sin is wrong and not what we are to do.

If anyone was implying I was judging I was not, I am simply seeing that the world is now very much embracing sin more than it was.

And WBC typically is used ammunition against Christians.

Dehumanizing homosexuals is wrong, they are sinners yes, but so is everyone. Its a favorite pass-time of many to hate on others sins to make themselves feel more secure, despite scripture warning us against this.

Accepting homosexuality itself as "okay" is another thing entirely, and for the record according to the word, no it is not okay to commit homosexual acts. Thoughts are one thing, living the life is another.
