My brain is something that I automatically use. Everything I do is filtered through my brain- it takes almost no effort on my part, and it just naturally happens. I do not have to go through a long, special process to access my brain, and I do not have to wait ages for my brain to respond. Sometimes, in special circumstances, I may need to put more focus into my brain to be able to do what is required of me.

Now replace "my brain" with "the Holy Spirit." ~_o

Anyone else agree?

Kinda like if I don't do things to keep my brain learning my brain will rot or kinda like if I don't spend lots of time learning my Lord I won't know the Holy Spirit much.

Belittling statements with a smiley face postscript do not qualify as humor. Try again....

Look, the post was in humor, I wasn't belittling anyone. I can't help it if you have no sense of humor...or you're still mad from our earlier discussion.

I'm not upset, sir. I just know that it isn't funny...hence the try again. And shoot for a less novice attempt this time; some of us are extremely critical of the quality of our humor around here.

Maybe it wasn't funny to you because you have no sense of humor. Now please quit criticizing me unjustly. So where's the moderator when you need them??

Lol guys =P

I don't get offended easy, and have a pretty sarcastic/cruel sense of humour maself, so I can take a joke ^_^ In this particular situation, I'd probably rather a real opinion on my thoughts though =P

And thanks for the back-up, though it wasn't necessary ~_o

You know, Vidy, I think it was his general attitude that sent me on the attack mode. He and I sparred in a couple other posts and he had a very harsh way of talking with everyone. Sorry our sparring landed on your thread.

In response to your thread, I liked the play on words and the focus being placed on God instead of us is essential; like John the Baptist said, Jesus must increase, while I must decrease.
