we have found that for most, their interest is in the world now - and what it has to offer to them
for their pleasure...as opposed to Christ's Kingdom...

I think that if one of the apostles walked into a church today, they wouldn't even recognize it at first and in some cases they wouldn't be able to get out fast enough.

According to what Yet pointed out via the link,is that the saints gathered daily, which it demonstrates that our concern should be all about the kingdom of God,and not of the world 6 days a week, only meeting on Sunday, and not living accordingly the rest of the week,is what I will say.

Paul was always rebuking, exhorting, correcting, and telling the saints to act right.

I do not think Paul would be very accepted on this web site, for he would be far above any other person on this site telling people to act right.

I think if Paul was on this web site he would be banned.Isn't that a trip.

Yeah but I don't answer to Paul..I answer to the one that knows my heart. What are we to do about this saints?
Do we go against something that we once thought was right? Do we slip out the back door never to return wishing no God's speed to anyone left behind? Do we depart with bitterness? Do we all go over yets house and resume.
Seriously any suggestions?

And Sunday falls between Saturnday and Moonday. Israel names their days 1st, 2nd, 3rd,...sabboth. We are seeped in the RCC occult, they have a major thing for Apollo. Father laughs...The tares grow along side the wheat. The Holy Spirit will lead us out of babylon and as the article says, it doesn't matter what day or what way we fellowship whether it's building or internet, God is glorified. Keep ringing the bell Yet, I'm listening.

Blanket statement is blanket. There are many biblical churches around today, you just have to look harder and do more research than previously.

I think there is enough in the scriptures to say that early christians did meet regularly in biblically grounded churches. And these churches did have particular doctrines and practices.

I only had a quick glance at the OPs link.. but seems to me they are saying in a round about way that christians DIDN'T meet as churches in regular assemblies.

Me thinks I need to re-read the link.

First impressions-- it's off beam.

kindly explain to me how this is a blanket statement, please do your own research and see what a real 1st century assemble must have looked like, I meant nothing negative in my statement, simply pointing out the facts, just becyase they may not recognize it at first does not in anyway mean it is not a biblical church, all you had to do was ask me to explain my statemeny rather then rendering a negative judgment upon it without at least knowing all the facts...
