Many false prophets as antichrists.
1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.1Jo 2:19 Theywent out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Many will come claiming to be 'anointed ones'. Claiming 'deligated authority'. 'Claiming hierarchical positions.' 'Claiming specialness above other brethren'. 'Claiming ten percent of your gross belongs to God but it goes into their pocket'.
What was the question? Are there false prophets for profit and 'anti-christs' (those that take the place of Christ)? Not a chance silly you!

The word for "false Christs" in Matthew 24:24 and Mark 13:22 is the sole Greek word pseudochristos (no. 5580, made up from Greek pseudo = false, and Christos = Christ).
Dr. James Strong in his Strong's Exhaustive Concordance defined pseudochristos as 'a spurious Messiah'.
Vine's Word Studies says this:

pseudochristos NT:5580 denotes "one who falsely lays claim to the name and office of the Messiah," Matt 24:24; Mark 13:22. See Note under ANTICHRIST.

Ask yourself, is Jesus speaking of many coming to claim it is Him, or is He pointing to a specific one to come claiming to be Him? -

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Pretty plain in those Scriptures our Lord Jesus and Apostle Paul were speaking of a specific false one that is to come.

Again, it's clear all those Scriptures are speaking of the same false one that is to come, i.e., a single Antichrist.

Jesus said many false prophets,and Christs,for it would seem like somebody that is a false Christ would try to convince the world,that what they represent,and can deliver,is the best for the world in peace,and spirituality,and no other higher benefit than that.
We know Jesus is the highest benefit we can receive from God,and is reality.
If a person claims to be Christ,it does not necessarily mean they are claiming to be Jesus,but that they are a Savior type for the world.
The New Age Christ,the man of sin,will not claim to be Jesus,for he will exalt himself above all that is called God,or is worshipped,and will not regard any god,and not regard the God of his fathers,but will honor the God of forces,or the evolutionary process.
So a false prophet,or Christ,might not have anything to do with the Bible,but they are saying that they speak what is the highest benefit to mankind,which would seem like it would always include spirituality.
But the New Age Christ will believe a false interpretation of the Bible,and although a person claiming to be Christ,might not have anything to do with the Bible,the end time false prophets,and Christ,probably have to do with the Bible.
But how can there be many false prophets,and Christs.
It would seem it could be possible in the New Age movement,which the Bible says the time will come that they will not endure the truth of the Bible,but according to their own lusts,heaping teachers to themselves,and turn their ears from the truth,and be turned unto fables,which means the imaginations of people,and their false reality beliefs.
For the new age movement can have many teachers,because they interpret all religions the same,according to evolution,and the occult,and people can mix and match religions,or maybe belief what they want,which they believe mind creates reality more than the world of sense,and the Akashic records.
In theosophy and anthroposophy, the Akashic records are a compendium of thoughts, events, and emotions believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the astral plane,so everything is able to be known on a physic level.
With the new age movement there can be many different varying beliefs,but it is all valid for spiritual enlightenment,for it is about the God of forces,trying to harness the power of nature,and evolve spiritually,and soince they mix and match religions,and mind creates reality,there can be many different teachers,with different beliefs,or paths,but it is all valid for it comes from people,and they determine their path.

Yes man under the influence of the god of this world the antichrist ,Satan who deceives men into thinking they need a man to teach us.
Hollywood the drama capitol of the world would be the other way around saying Satan is a 'man'; he has the outward image and likeness of 'man’. He looks like this or that.
Satan the god of this world has no form, no DNA . He is not made after the rudiments of this world (formed from the dust) He is a lying Spirit, as the antichrist ( singular). He is the liar from the beginning
He uses men, as beast, a word used to acknowledge natural man taken from the dust and along with the father of lies to deceive other men who have form .When they do his bidding they are called antichrists (plural).
He does try and can be successful to even deceive the elect into thinking we do need men to put our faith (the unseen) in other men in order to teach us as the “things of men” .This offends the "things of God" who alone is the one promised teacher of heaven.
That kind of work of deceiving as an antichrist using men as antichrists is shown clearly in the example with Peter who was used as one of the antichrists to try even and deceive “Christ himself”. You could say the antichrist (Satan) and anticrists men ,working in harmony to the lie. or the deceived (men), as many and the deceiver Satan, one.
Satan who remains without form is identified by that motive of operation . We are warned in 1 John 2 . One of the riches places to learn of His motives, again according to that warning of antichrists (another anointing spirit as a teacher) we do not put our faith that belongs to Christ in respect to any man as the things of men .Christ not seen, is the teacher and comforter, as it his word our one source of faith needed to believe Him teaches us we abide in him ,the anointing Holy Spirit of God....called Christ.
1 John 2 paints a clear picture as to his motive of operation...
1Jo 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them (antichrists) that seduce you.
The “them” that seduce in the warning above are the antichrists .In their actions they deny the father and the Son (1Jo 2:22)
Just as did Peter in Mathew 16.offend the things of God in respect the things of men
A gain we do not need men to anoint us as our teachers. One is out teacher in heaven just as one is our father in heaven,.We abide in him Christ who is the promised Holy Ghost not men who would again teach other we do need men to teach us.

You guys just aren't paying attention... within God's Word. You instead flap around like a fish out of water from every fanciful whim of man's traditions.
