this is like my other thread about jesus and the father...

in the doctrine of the trinity we understand that jesus is God and the holy spirit is God...but jesus is not the holy spirit and the holy spirit is not jesus...

going deeper into the theology of the trinity it also becomes evident that jesus and the holy ghost share some characteristics but there are other characteristics in which each is unique...

this thread is for listing some of those ways...

like in the other thread i will go first...

jesus is like the holy spirit in that they were both present at creation...
jesus is like the holy spirit in that they are both said to be dwelling in us...
jesus is like the holy spirit in that they both have a great love for humanity...
jesus is like the holy spirit in that they both act in the old testament but they are both much more prominently seen in the new testament...

jesus and the holy spirit are unique in that jesus took human flesh and the holy spirit did not...
jesus and the holy spirit are unique in that jesus died and the holy spirit did not...
the holy spirit is unique in that the holy spirit is sent by the father and son...
the holy spirit is unique in that only blasphemy against the holy spirit cannot be forgiven...

.

The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is recognized as Christ the anointing Holy Spirit of God. Jesus simply means savoir with no single connection to the temporal flesh . The Son of man is reserved for that .

.

Unique represented as two but of one Spirit working in metaphors as immutable attributes of one, (father and Son) as if there was two Gods . One seen, the Son of man, the other not seen to represent our Father. Two is the number word used in parables to represent one .

You need to keep looking, for the Holy Father, the son and the Spirit [Holy Spirit] are one. They are all three God, just being represented in different factions [offices].

[1] God the Father is Holy, Holy, Holy and will not associate with sin or the sinful which means that as the Holy Father, He cannot interact with His creation [children] because He alone is righteous without fault, and He will share this [His] Glory with no other.

[2] Through the faction [office] as the righteous son [Emmanuel] the atonement for sin [faults] is given and interaction with creation is possible.

[3] The Spirit [Holy Spirit of God] is only a reference to the will or influence of the Holy Father upon His creation through the manifestation of the Son who is the Messiah or anointed one [who received the anointing from the Father] to hold this position between Himself and His creation [children].

All three occupying different factions to interact with creation.

God Bless
